Is there any chance we could also have the option of viewing things the old way? For me, seeing the posts above and below the one I'm reading gives me much more of a sense of "conversation". I enjoy leafing through the various avatars with my scroll bar and getting a feel of who is participating. UM is one of the places I relax and the old way of viewing things is easier on the eyes for me. People go to an effort to give their posts visual impact and it was interesting seeing many posts at once, like an art gallery of UM conversation.
Of course, I can always get used to the new way. Also, of course, this may be an issue of my not understanding something on the site. I may have pressed a button somewhere and requested the new format (directions... not my strong point).
