Hi guys, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, forgive me if I'm not.

You know when you upload and attachement, if you go to "Manage Current Attachements" it comes up with three symbols. A green plus, a red cross and a blue pin. When I click on the one with the pin, it doesn't do anything, is that the one you need to make the photo come straight up without the black border? I can't get it to work and always have to post photos like this.....

I'd appreciate someone telling me where I'm going wrong.

Cheers, Reg.

The green cross is the one for inserting the attachment in to your post, the red cross deletes the attachment.

The third icon just represents the type of file you've uploaded and doesn't do anything when you click on it. thumbsup.gif

sorry for putting it in the wrong place blush.gif

Why do my attachments have the black border on them? other people can post just plain photos - does anyone know what I'm doing wrong and how to fix it.

Cheers, Reg

The black border is there because the attachment has been resized, if you attach a very small image the border won't be there.

Alternatively if you 'hotlink' to an image and use IMG tags to post a picture there won't be a border on it, however we don't recommend hotlinking to images on other sites so you'll need to get some web space and upload the image(s) to there before hotlinking to them to do that.
