does anyone know of a free program or a technique to resize a .gif image??? i found bunches of ways to resize jpegs. the 2 times i was able to resize the .gif image, it became "non-animated". i don't know what i'm doing wrong.

If you upload it to photobucket and resize it from there, it will work.

hmmm - ok, i'll try it. i tried on a few other image hosting sites like that & it said the file was to big. anyway, i will try photobucket. thank you original.gif

ok - i tried photobucket. it seemed to work. i resized it to 160 x 128 (because the help files say 500 x 150 is the limit). however, it still says the image is too high or too wide.

There is a site called imagemagick you can try there. If you have a image just put the size in like this; Click resize & put it in what it needs to be, small for example 34X55! in & then click the buttons below. You have to always put ! or it won't resize.

Oh forgot to tell you just put in imagemagick in your search box there is about 5 I think out there.
