Marysville, Ohio - An Ohio couple have three children born on the same date, not because they are triplets, but by the hand of chance.

Ayden Cotton was born Oct. 2, 2003. Three years to the day later, Logan Cotton arrived four days earlier than expected.

And Kayla Cotton was born Tuesday. Her mother, Jenna, went from her sons’ birthday party to the doctor and then to the hospital, where Kayla arrived just after 7 p.m.

Bill Notz, a statistician at Ohio State University, said that the odds of having three children with the same birthday are about 7.5 in a million. But he said that given the millions of families in the world the odds of somebody having those children are almost a certainty.

Jenna Cotton and her husband, William, have no plans to test the odds any further.

Thats kind of cool, all I can think of is how pissed I'd be for not having my special day and having to share it with my brothers. Grr!

My family is KIND of like that. KIND of. My dad is October 24, my youngest brother is October 26 and my middle brother (6 years older) is October 27.

My niece has a daughter and two grandchildren with the same birthday.

My daughter's b-day is December 3rd.
My sister's first daughter's b-day is also December 3rd
My sister's second daugher is July 3rd

3 girls, all born on the 3rd... even funnier? Our maiden last name is ... yeah... Triplett.

We go in threes ALWAYS. haha.

They should play the lottery.

Regarding all three being born on the same day, that sorts out any birthday party trouble, one massive party, every year

Thats what i was thinking, the parents only have to throw one party but each kid would probably prefer to feel it,s their own special day! But then any twins or triplets etc...have to share the day with a sibling as well!

The kids probably tell their friends, "our family's birthday is October 2. When is your family's birthday?"
