That's what I think. I think we evolve throughout years, and this year something terrible will happen, and these aliens are trying to warn us, that's with all the cover-ups from the government: they don't want us to panic. The thing is that I ask you: What do you think that bad will happen to us, to make ourselves come back to warn us?

Hi and wellcome back ThadO. It's a very interesting topic you have touched here i must say. I've been wondering the same thing.
If aliens are really US from the future coming back to warn us about something, then i would say they are warning us about war, or a big disaster created by men.
If they were trying to warn us, then we must presume that we could change the future, and we cant do that if it is a natural disaster we are talking about.
Im am certin it is war, a world war that is, and they are coming back now to do anything possible to prevent or just delay that war. And the mass coverup? what would you do if you would find out that in 10-20 years there would be an world war and you know who the "good" guys "bad" huys are. You would try to make a early attack before they were ready would you not?

I find it hard to imagine how people will be able to go back in time at all. If a person goes back to yesterday, then the universe would have changed. It would become universe + 1 person, thus yesterday would be changed even without that person doing anything.

And even if they do change so that whatever is going to happen, will not happen, then they will not exist to go back in time and warn us about the future, thus the future must still happen as it did before they changed it.

While time travel is possible such travel simply to warn us would be silly.
Think about it if we have the ability to travel through time in exotic space ships it proves that we make it to technological greatness. I could accept the possibility that they are here simply to observe but not warn.
Of course by the time such technology exists humans will be extinct as we will self-evolve with the aid of our technology and knowledge becoming an almost omnipotent species taking it's place as one if not the most advanced species in the galaxy or universe.
FYI this is not your theory it has been around for a long time and mentioned on the boards before.

If the future humans ( Although, How much human would we have left in us? Eg. Robotic limbs ) were coming back they wouldn't look all the same, would they?
Like some races of people have fair hair .. Or a colour of eyes ..
These 'Aliens' have different races to!
Like the Grays .. And the other one whose name escapes me with all the blonde hair and the deathly white skin ..

I've always figured that we were once aliens long ago and that somehow or other, we probably "stepped" into simian creature's bodies - helping them evolve over eons into our current human state. So in a sense, when I think of "aliens", I think of family. Family, friends, and lovers.
I would say you are very pessimistic and I am glad that I am not you. I didn't mean that as an insult, but your outlook on life is horrific.
i think this year is going to end like all the other years..... everyone getting pumped up with predictions of impending doom, and it always being a disappointing let down... 
i have to admit all the images of aliens we see these days seem to resemble the human form or is it convergent evolution? (that is if we do share the same biological dynamics of evolution with these aliens)

If military top brass' stories of UFOs neutralizing ICBMs in mid air are true, then they've obviously gone beyond merely warning us and actually helped us. And if even a fraction of abductee anecdotes are true, then that proves they're actually extremely concerned for us and are way past the mere warning stages of their involvement.

I'm not sure what you're asking for here, especially since my previous post pretty much answers your question. I'm not into mental karate games, so sorry. I'm outta this for now.

If they indeed helped us, and stopped nuclear death, then they would not come back and stop it.
Let us say that they come from 2050, from a world of chaos after the nuclear blasts, and decides to go back in time and stop the nuclear launches. They come back to, say, 1970, and stops the launches. In that case, the nuclear poisoned world of 2050 wouldn't exist. Also, there wouldn't be any need for them to go back in time and stop the nuclear launches - thus, they never stopped the nuclear launches, thus nuclear war happened anyway.
The only other explanation would be that they created an alternate timeline, but in that case the other timeline would still experience nuclear war.
we always hear about time travel and humans from our future, but did it occur to anyone that "they" could be humans from another dimension who have developed interdimensional travel, it could be possible, for example the CERN hadron collider in switzerland is designed to recreate the big bang and/or possibly create black holes (and other dimensions?)by smashing particles against each other at the speed of light, perhaps they will creat alternate dimensions and warn humans from our past about the prviously upcoming wars and give out technological information to them and just observe to see different outcomes to our past and rewrite history in the safety of another dimension (just my own theory)
I don't think it would be a good idea to send back a few vessels, land in obscure places and talk to farmers or probe some poor bystander.
Why not follow the classic examples - take over the air waves and broadcast a message, don't we have movie players in the future? Is all our important culture lost? Is there no Star Wars in the Future!
We don't seem to have the message through yet, and nobody from the future UM has sent back disclosure!!! If so, we are not getting more efficient
