today while my son was taking a nap on the living room floor my mother thought she saw sumthin out the corner of her eye and she has always thought that while babys are sleepin that they have a gaurdian angel so she took a pic of my son while he was sleeping and the picute freaked me out take a look at the pic and tell me wat u think i belive it is his guardian angel.....

looks like smoke but yet very eerie smoke.
jk kool.but i would feel weird if i was him so i wouldnt show him that pic untils hes moved out.
bc i wouldnt feel right sleeping in that house after i saw that pic if it was me.

Was your Mother smoking or, did she have a candle lit somewhere? If not, the smoky mist seems to either come from that tiny basket of what appears to be toys, or it lands on the basket. What is behind that door? JN

LOL That is why I was wondering if Mom smokes or perhaps had a lit candle somewhere? It does seem directed at that little basket, but hard to tell so far. I dont think they should call it a "guardian angel" till they get to the source. If no one was smoking and no candles lit, it could be ectoplasm, which could indicate it is a spirit of some sort. But its so dispersed I am not sure..JN-

To explain this pic, it's not a smoke, it's a reflection of the flash that bounced back
from the telly that appears as smoke.

I just meant if I tried to clarify the TV I would lose the integrity of the original image. Brightening it up as much as I already had, and enlarging it had distorted it already (as you can see from the image I posted - grainy? Yeah!). Seriously, Barek, if I have an issue with a photo I'll say something directly to you. Otherwise you need not assume every comment I make about photo enhancement is aimed at you. I don't do things like pick a person down and beat around the bush until I get the nerve to say what I really want, I get right to the point.

we dont light candles at all and she had not smoked a cig in a very long time so there shouldnt have been any smoke she smokes in her room mostly

Well my hair is brown and it doesn't look like that. It should have a bit of a tint even with the flash. Not smoke, not candles... I'm out of non-paranormal causes. But I agree with Veliska, as long as the baby isn't disturbed you won't have to worry. I'd definately take bunches of pics though and see if you can recreate this!


Well with your technique you have found some pretty interesting things and I should probably point them out more often. But you know how I am, very few short posts.

Hi JN! I can provide some info on the picture and the copper butterflys around it. They've been in the family for at least 20 years, maybe longer, and mother doesn't smoke around the baby if she can help it. Her hairs short and dark, I can vouch for all that, as Ashley is my little sister. Theres a lot of things in the room that have been in the family a long time, both pictures, the butterflys, the shelf attached to the wall and the bird knick knacks on it, and a few of the trinkets on top of the entertainment center, but never had any activity from them growing up. Hope that helps some!

I don't subscribe to personal "guardian angels", as popularly defined. Why couldn't it just be a ghost? Harmless, maybe curious, but simply a ghost?

I'm not sure if Ashley knows this, and seeing as our grandmother isn't well, she may not be able to ask, but our grandmother once told me of a ghost, or as she called it, an angel. It was an apartment in TX (I think) when I was a baby, she said she was laying on the bed with me watching TV and a ghost came out of the television, hovered over the bed for a few moments, then flew into the wall behind the bed. She claims it was looking at me *shrugs*. I always liked this story, and know shes a strong believer in angels. Might just be the old woman has something there, hmm? Not sure, but now that I think about it, its kinda cool this happened after knowing about that.

Your mom goes around taking snap shots looking for angels does she? Thats a little crazy if you ask me. Was the object in the photo visible to the naked eye? If so, how long was it visible? Is this what your mom saw out of the corner of her eye or did she see something else?
