Do you think it's possible for us to have several of them? I suppose you would have to believe in reincarnation to accept the possibility but i really don't know which way i sway on this. I would think if we had a past life we would retain some memory from it. Just for fun i had a psychic reading done and the girl that read me said that i have had a couple of past lives, She said at one time i lived in or around rome about 100 or 200 years before christ. I just don't know what to make of it.

I believe in past lives. I have had a few people look at my hands, and everyone of them said that I was a very old spirit. I have had some weird dreams where I was in another time, and they were very realistic,

Sometimes, children seem to have an "old head on young shoulders" - sometimes they just seem and look wise, like they've been here before.

Also, we're from England but I was talking to my sister who lives in Australia, she said that she was drawn to the place like she'd been there before.

There are several periods/places in history that fascinate me, I'm sure we all have them, mines Russia and NE Northern America, she thinks this is because I had a past life in these places. dontgetit.gif

Endlessly
Ive always believed in recarnation. When my older brother was born my Grandmother said he has deffinatley been here before which seems true as he is wise n all. Im drawn to Greek Mythology and a parently i was a greek women.

When my father was in nepal or Tibet years n years ago he was walking up these stairs to a little stand kinda thing lol. he had a flash back of him walking up the gallows and another one of him about to give a lecture wearing the toga or what ever. But a thing he has is wearing scarfs or necklaces he feels uncomfortable since he was obviouslyhanged in a past life. he also cant sit with his back to the door.

The numbers of young children documented as having knowledge of other places and people they could not possibly have had contact with proves that there is certainly access to information from other lives. There was a book written about it ("Other days, Other lives", I think) which went into great detail about these children.
Personally, I think it doubtful that there will ever be cast iron proof about such things. The only important thing in these cases is how it makes you feel. I feel comfortable with the idea that I have lived before, multiple times in fact. Such things allow me to explain things which would otherwise be difficult, given my belief system.
I think that it is more likely that we have had MANY past lives, not just a few. After all, if this universe is so old, why shouldn't we have been around a few times? Plus there's the option of having other universes. So the possibilities pile up.

imo it is a lie.

I have always believed in past lives. There are just too many things I have known that cannot be explained otherwise.

I am an adherent of the belief that the Soul needs to mature it's way back to the Divine Source it came from. That it does this through the various experiences had in each life. The more/farther progress made in each life, the sooner the Soul will return to the Divine Source of all knowledge.

i do not believe in reincarnation but i do believe there is a way to "see" the past , present, and future through others eyes...this would give the impression of a past life...

I have heard something about that. I've always had the feeling i've been around before and i've never really been able to explain the feeling. Iwas told that when i was little i was sitting up having adult conversations before i could even walk. I just wonder if having a past life regression session would be worth while.

I've had dreams like this too. VERY realistic, in color, sounds smells, pain. I kinda like having my Native American dream, until I get shot, that part sucks and I wake up.

I'm not really inclined to believe in reincarnation or even survival of bodily death. To me, those concepts sound pretty far-fetched, and I don't personally feel like I need them to be true. But I've looked into it closely and find the evidence to be overwhelmingly in favor of these propositions. Anyone can get some books and examine the published evidence for himself, and if that's not enough, anyone can take matters into his own hands and look around himself for the evidence.

My point is that it doesn't matter if I personally believe these things or if they appeal to me in any way. To me, what matters is what the evidence says. And I think it is very strongly in favor of reincarnation.

I had this dream since the age of three that I was engaged to man that was handsome but that i didn't love.

This seems to take place in Britain because of the accent of the people talking to me in the dream.

I know i was a schoolteacher or had something to do with children and had brown hair, slender, green eyes. My skirt was around 19th century style, dark green and of a heavy cotton beacuse I'm fumbling it with my right hand. My hair is tied back in a bun becauseI can feel that-the pull. I look down at my boots and they are laced up.
Kinda looking like Mary Poppins but younger ( I think) and no make-up.This is my sense of self. My fiance is quiet, leaning against a wall holding a hat, legs crosed in front of him. He's always very quiet and that's why i find him boring and melancholy. he's dressed in black. i dont see his face but i have a sense of how he looks.
I'm visiting an all girls orphanage that i grew up in. I have no memory of my parents. It was a happy home and remember us running up the stairs. and remember ecspecially the one time we got to dress up in our best fancy dresses. I remember my best girlfriend having a pink satiny one-brown hair & cork curls for this happy occasion. i don't remember what I had on. i just know it was a happy exciting day. the orpahnage was now empty with a couple pieces of furniture covered in white sheets. The head of the orphange was there to greet me and she was intensely happy to see me. She was kind, tall, gray haired & had intense bright blue eyes, scottish or irish accent. But i was looking out the curtainless large window daydreaming not really listening . It was a slow gray drizzle outside (Winter) thinking of my happy memories there and how they were over and sad at the same time. I got the impression i didn't live much longer or died fairly young right after this.

This is only a dream I've had over and over (exactly the same each time)

Is it reincarnation ? Don't know. it's very thought provoking

Maybe it came from a movie ?

Yes I do believe in past multiple past lives. I do think though that even though a person is reincarnated that there is still a part of that person that remains dead. That's why people can communicate with the dead even though the soul has passed on. It's my idea that a soul may be incarnated multiple times and still hold memories from past lives. However the people who have been incarnated are indeed dead.

I know it sounds complicated but that is as best I can put it. I have met many people in my life that I feel instant closeness to yet have never met before, something inside just clicks. I've always felt that I've had many past lives as a man, and was a soldier in WW2 and was sent to Europe. And a psychic also told me one that I was once a witch in my past life. Maybe that explains my love for the paranormal.

Ok so lets compare the amount of people who think they've had visions of past lives ..
And the amount who haven't ..

It's BS .. This is just another superstition ..

Those "kids" you are talking about include me. lol

I have had many, many past lives. lol I strongly believe in Reincarnation....

http://www.reconnections.net/family_tree.htm

Think of it that way!

Also, I am in contact with a son of mine from another life. Yeah, you may not believe, but it's true. I remember the night I died... dreamed it over and over... and when I asked him how his mother had died and he told me.... I was stunned!! So now I know. lol

Plus it all really comes down to what you believe in. For me it's kinda hard to deny Reincarnation.

Well, OK< except that superstition tends to be a term which a group applies to an idea they don't find resonance with, whereas what we're talking about here is what individuals feel and believe. It doesn't matter whether anyone else thinks or labels it as superstition, because the only aspect of it which measn anything is whether or not is actually has meaning, feeling or makes the individual sit up and say 'Wow' or 'Hmmm!' Nothing else counts, I think.

When I was 15, I was convinced I was going to die. I was sick for about 2 weeks and feeling such a horrible darkness around me. But, then one day it was completely gone. After reading a lot of and talking to quite a few people, there is belief that some people "know" at what age they died in another lifetime, and it can affect this one. So, supposedly, I lived past the age that I died in another lifetime. Whether it is true or not, I find the idea quite interesting.

I once had a fever about this year or last and while having sorta hallucinations and feverish dreams I was in fact a man, and I was very ill or had been shot, it was sorta tudor times or something if I remember correctly, and a family took me in, on a sorta farm or tudor house, but I think they had horses or horse and carriage.
Of course, it could be a dream...but while having a fever...you don't know, it could have made me remember abit of a passed life.
Either way...I think its possible that some or most people have lived before.
