Thanks to JackalnChainz i'm gone home with a more open mind about the possibilities of orbs being the physical (albeit only flash photographic) manifestation of ghosts or spirits (i'm not ruling out, Vampire dandruf, pixie dust, unicorn farts or alien space rays either)

So last night i went home, and at midnight.. i started to feel inspired to do some experimentation (seriously, it was actually midnight)

My computer room seemed like a good ghost haunting place, it's kinda old & there is a spooky crack in the floor.. So here is a photo with no flash..


No ghosts! (although there is a killer bunny from Monty Python on top of one of the computers, but that was there before)

So took a photo WITH flash


Hmmm... still no ghosts... So i thought, why not shake an old dusts t-shirt i had laying around to see if it would "provoke" the ghosts to show themselves.. i also said Jesus and a few other names from the many and varied religions around the world (i'm a multicultural ghost hunter!)


Holy Zeus! ORBS!!

This was a major development.. real ghosts!! (or Vampire dandruf, pixie dust, unicorn farts or alien space rays) in my computer room!!

Time to get some ghosts from other rooms! So off i treked (well... what i really did was turn 90 degrees to my right) to the lounge room.

At this point i was pretty happy with myself & my orb conjuring abilities & went to see if i could manifest anything OUTSIDE the house. I think we may have a contender for most haunted house in Australia soon!!

Hmmm... thats not a very good show out for my beloved orbs.. Maybe my sheet was running out of dust *cough* i mean.. MAGIC. Then it struck me! i'd been getting all these orbs to run around & pose for photos so they MUST be hungry.. so i got some duck food (yeah i know, weird thing to have laying about the place) and ground it up a bit (in case the orbs had really tiny mouths) & chucked it onto the table for them to feast on!


Sweet Zombie Jesus! they must have LOVED that as they now had MUCH more spiritual energy and positively GLOWED GOLDEN in appreciation of my offering.. At this point i decided to let them rest for the night. I might have to do something about securing the duck feed though as i don't want it to go missing.. does anyone know how to bless a plastic container or otherwise protect it from Vampires, pixies and unicorns?

This is perhaps the best thread I have seen in a long long time. If i were you, id either A. Be afraid that you have hundreds of spirits all around you. B. Feel incredibly lucky that a rare unicorn would come and poot in your house or C. feel uneasy that a damn vamipire had the audacity (sp) to leave flakey dandruff all over the place. Next time, leave head and shoulders around, maybe the dude would take a hint

I think most Paranormal Groups concur that Orbs are not enough hard evidence to call them Paranormal? There are too many logical reasons that could create an Orb effect. Light reflections, dust etc; I also think some types of Orbs could be just a "Natural" form of energy or phenomenon. I am the same way when I record light anomalies on video. I am skeptical because for all we know some light anomalies are a natural phenomenon.

They are cool in their own aspect, perhaps they should be labeled as its own phenomenon?

Well it is hard to say. I mean I have seen videos orbs zooming by people, and I think to myself, that maybe it could be energy from a spirit manifested with the enviroments energy itself/...OR just something to do with the eviroment. If it is Natural..it's still pretty cool...lol.

Turn the contrast up on this one and you'll see it...if not please reply...NO wonder the guy is out to disprove ghostys ...

Well...you just made a believer out of me...and that's close to impossible!Never would i have thought for a moment that all the "orb" shots i had taken in my life would turn out to be just dust,but you have proven(for the first time i've ever seen) without a doubt,that what i thought was some ghost,is just a bunch of freakin' dust!Congrats on debunking something i never could explain,and you did it just perfectly.Good job,really!

coloured orbs are not uncommon .even if this one isnt dust . it still doesnt automatically make it spirit either . im still thinking orbs have a rational explanation .

If an "ORB" were to be a spirit in energy form, and was recorded with a camera that saves light in the frequency's Humans see in, we would ALL see Orbs with out cameras or vidio . The fact that most people dont see them makes any photo suspect.
