New York - Nadege Brunacci was washing her hands in her bathroom before dawn when she glanced back and saw a seven-foot long python peeking out from her toilet, most of its body hidden in the pipes.

Brunacci slammed down the lid, put a heavy box on top of the toilet and began calling for help, which came from her landlord and firefighters. Plumbers had to tear apart the downstairs neighbor's pipes to capture the snake.

Brunacci, says she gave the snake to a friend who keeps it as a pet and named it after her.

When she brushes her teeth, she said, "I'm looking over my shoulder."

On a smaller scale I can relate - we found my son's corn snake in his school bag last weekend. We've had her for 5 years and she's never escaped, my son didn't close the vivarium properly.

I really can't stand snakes and the sight of it curled up in his bag was vile. crying.gif

I always said "if that snake escapes even once - she's gone" but I didn't have the heart, he sobbed when he realised she'd escaped.

Full on, was It some sort of water python? Whats it doing slidding up sewer pipes. I can understand the reptile seeking out water for moisture or to help it shed. Snakes do have a sence of smell. She may have had a rat in her house!!!

Im baffled "how the and what the".

Thats so cool but, I'd be like "yep.......thanks for comeing, I'll have you".
Mind you, 7 ft is a pretty big snake,.......... smash a good one if your not carefull.

I would practically sh*t in my pants. I hate snakes, like I in an earlier thread, so if I see one peeking out of my toilet, oh man.

Kinda reminds of that part in "Snakes on A Plane".
