ok....I have yet to put my ideas to paper (I've only been thinking abhout this for about 20 minutes so far) but the way I figure it so far is I'm going to most likely end up needing to come up with a new form of physics.....(to travel through time is easy.....to travel through time AND space is a lil harder)
Plus thers still the problem of being bigger on the inside then it is outside........
And the cloaking device.....
I'm thinking I'll need to design some sort of wormhole device......
Plus some sort of advanced AI.........(I believe the TARDIS is alive? Is this true? That the timelords "grew" their Tardis's?) That might be a lil hard.....
And theres the whole "manipulating gravity" part....but I suppose that could be usful in moving through space......
Does anyone know where I can find any detailed blueprints of the TARDIS?
Has anyone tried to come up with a way that such a thing would be possible?
*Edit* - And before you guys go all "OMG!!!! He said time travel is easy!!! What an idiot!" You want to make a time machine? Heres how you do it. Get a chair. Sit in it. Wait. You are now moving forward through time.

go to homebase and buy a pack of tardis seeds.

It's easy.
Just start building on the inside and be sure you don't let the outside get bigger than a phone booth.

O.K. I,ll play with this one, yep got it, get an old English ex police phone box and (1)put a really huge frequency generator and set it for the frequency of light (2) aquire a really big resonator and patch it to the generator, (3) procure a super computer, then insert into box being extremely careful not to let any of the equipment earth out on the side's, using Quantum mathamatical equation's press the G.O. button and with the help of the Scaler potential, you,ll be gone somewhere! When you get to the Space border please send a postcard! All warranties or guaranties are VOID..

You are an idiot not because you said time travel is easy but because you are clearly ripping off Dr. Who.

But we all travel through time and space already - I can walk from room to room and it takes about 3 seconds.
Who needs a TARDIS?

Yep - you are time traveling into the future right now, along with me. Every single thing in the universe travels in time every second of it's existence.

I think the bbc has the blue prints of how to build a TARDIS, so all u got to do it sneak in there to find out. Problem solved.

I would laugh so hard if it actually worked but it malfunctioned and he got stuck living in some cave hiding from the T-Rex, but then... I would never know would I? lulz

ok krimp space like pushing to side of a piece of cloth together it warps it, then make it orbits a certain point (the space not the ship), then the craft stays at one fixed position due to the theory of special relativity, this (determine which way the space is moving (clockwise) and how heavily you krimp space makes how far and how far back you go into time)
or sending tiny quantum sized worm holes at near speed of light speed meaning it goes into the future, then by using each worm hole send every atom particle ect through into another time or space pr time and space.
Plus thers still the problem of being bigger on the inside then it is outside........
not a problem its called dimensional or spatial inflation, by compressing about 20 pounds to the size of an atoms nuclie, then by warping dimensionally space you create the spatial illusion of more space on the inside
And the cloaking device.....
a kind of hologram and condensing of space my cause the TARDIS to take a differing shape.

But... ...but, would it sound like a constipated fire truck when it took off and landed?

OK I think this thread has been caught in a time warp and has run its course, for further information contact the BBC.
