Many are authentic and a few are fake, like the person on the rail road tracks, the toddler at the grave site etc JN-

I don't know about best of the best, but they are famous and they are interesting to look at. Thanks for posting that link Hazzard!

Probably not the best of the best, but the most famous. I know some of those images have a good possibility of being a double exposure or just the way the camera took the picture. Mainly of the guy standing in the doorway at church or whatever it was. Kinda a blurr effect that heads to the right of his body.....I have seen similar images which I believe is a natural occurance, however we must respect the hear-say of the individuals taking the pictures. If they say no one was there, nobody was there.

Yes, The Back Seat Ghost would be up there with the worst of the worst things to happen to you on a dark night.

Even though these pictures have been posted before, they are always interesting to look at again...And yes, the back seat ghost is eerie...I always check the back of my truck before getting in... laugh.gif

Those are some really good photos! The cowboy one is probably one of my favorites. - With the man's head and shoulders in the background looking like he's coming out of the ground! Creepy! tongue.gif

What about the pic of the flying brick in Borley Rectory? wouldn't that be considered a ghost pic?? hmm maybe not

I stumbled across the same site yesterday (literally, using Firefox's "Stumbleupon" application) and found some to be interesting, but noted several I consider fake (I am sure some of them have been proven as such and the individual posting them perhaps didn't do his/her research). Many of them are very famous ones that get tossed around paranormal sites and boards frequently.

Gosh, I love ghost pictures. Part of me says most are fake, and part says that most are real. I have no idea, but I like them. thumbsup.gif

Some great photos here.

For me, the SS Watertown photo has always been the most irrefutable piece of evidence concerning paranormal existence. Try as I may, I can't see how it could be paradoleia.

Good thread!

The Wem ghost girl is my favourite.

Wasn't the lady in the back of the car supposed to be the man who was driving the cars' mother in law - who had died a week before?

Yeah, that's the story. pretty freaky, but could it be fake? I'm not sure, but I'm voting in favour of genuine yes.gif

I agree with everyone else, perhaps not the best pics truthwise, but they are the most famous. My fav has always been the staircase one yes.gif

Yeah, they're rather unsettling. Having said that, I found the SS Watertown picture to be far more nervewracking. It could be because I first saw it at the age of nine or so, though yes.gif
