sure it is an evidence, evidence that trees can bend, actually this bigfoot myth was on tv, and it is a hoax, they made a progam about guys who made this hoax, and even showed how they did it, when reporter asked they why did you do it, they said, just for the hell of it.

Piney has showed me stuff like this before They often use there brute strength to bend trees and sometimes twist them.If Piney replies to this topic he can explain all He's more wise than I.

Great picture Smeagol! I thought I was looking for a bigfoot.

I was straining trying to see it until I read the replies.

Silly me!
I've never heard of bent trees being evidence of bigfoot. If that is true, than I must have an infestation of bigfeet on my property!
I'm just kidding with you.

It's an interesting thought.

There was a bent tree at my old school.
It was because the seed was planted stupidly I think

As you can see .. The small trunk of the tree isn't snapped ..
Which indicates that someone is or something is holding it down ..
A thin tree like that would just snap back to it's original position ..
It's in any way AT ALL evidence of Big Foot.

It's only evidence for bigfoot if you can prove that it wasn't bent by other people/known animals/natural damage...

Gotcha! I'll look for that.
In the meantime, did you notice that there is a broken branch, from another tree, holding that sapling down?
You have to look carefully.

My family has had a cabin on a remote lake in south central British Columbia since 1972.
Once every few years, we would come across a fully grown tree with its trunk growing straight up, but a few feet off the ground its trunk did a full circle.
We were told by an old-timer that Indians did this long ago to mark a trail or particular location.
I even found a dead tree about 8 inches in diameter with the telltale 360-degree loop a few feet from the forest floor. Dad and I cut it down, as it was nearly fallen over. That section was a decoration outside our cabin for many years, then disappeared. Someone thief undoubtedly admired it.
You should never assume that even in the most seemingly remote places, others have not recently taken the same route.
Many years ago, in northeastern Washington State, a college buddy and I hiked all day off the beaten path. We put about five miles behind us and were far from any road, high on a mountain slope. We pitched our tent and then I had to obey a call of nature.
Moving along the slope, 50 yards or so, I sought out a comfortable place for my business. Twenty yards from our tent I found a set of pliers, so new they didn't even have rust on them!
We were miles from the nearest road or trail. I still can't explain the presence of those pliers but clearly someone had been in the same area only within the past few weeks.
Perhaps the bent tree was a hoax. It clearly doesn't constitute proof of Bigfoot or anything else paranormal.
But if you accept it as proof, I have some oceanview property in Kansas to sell you. <smirk>

Could you give us some height references, Smeagol? Were you able to walk underneath the tree?

Any chance there was a tree growing above it blocking the sun and it moved over to get some sun?
Or any chance where there high winds? looks like all of the other trees are bent.

Don't get me wrong here. I do believe in Sasquatch. But I see nothing in this picture to show evidence of one. I see several pieces of deadfall around this young tree. A large limb could have fallen from a larger tree nearby and caused this tree to bend over like that and then held it down long enough for it to hold that shape.

Actually, if you look past the bent tree and straight through, I can see something that looks like a dark orange/light brown hairy hominid like bigfoot or something...maybe its just me...

Sorry, there are too many plausible explanations for this that have already been mentioned. Perhaps you'll find your bigfoot elsewhere hun.

Someone coulda been there before you were and did it. An animal could have done it, such as a normal monkey or chimp or whatever. All I know is that is FAR from being evidence that bigfoot exists..
