I had one experience, gladly not as traumatic as your's Ouch! I was in an accident on a remote road and lying there in real pain, and i still remember that feeling, I guess I musta blacked out, but my mind was working and instantly all pain was gone, I seemed to be travelling and a voice told me that it was,nt my time yet, and in flash I was conscious again and hurting again! That's the short story to that, but more interesting is the fact that when I was youngish my mother asked a seer to read my lifeline and she predicted that at that age I was of that accident I would die!, then I remember her seeing a strange look in her eye's, sorta glazing over and she hurried away!..

I was in a car crash where the other driver (a college student) Had fallen asleep at the wheel his RV ran me into a lake people say my car did some flips but i blacked out until i hit the water. I was lucky enough to be half on land but i couldn't move for some time the roof of the car had hit my head so hard i couldn't see out of one eye for months and my left arm was broken and i couldn't use my legs for a couple of weeks i made a full recovery, but as far as near death the only thing i felt was dizzy and in pain. but ask my passenger he was 85 years old and only got a couple of scratches he was is the hospital 24 hours and later he had a stroke and now hes in for a couple of weeks.

Years ago I had an ectopic rupture, which almost killed me. Before my husband decided to call an ambulane he was going to drive me to the hospital . He put me in the car, but forgot the keys so went back inside. As I sat in the car by myself I saw a black vortex to my left, outside of the car, that I wanted to go to badly, but the thought of my husband being left alone kept me from going. It was weird too, all the sudden the pain was gone for a few minutes and I felt like everything we know to be real is just an illusion, like a 2 dimensional fake world. Once I decide not to go into this peaceful, black vortex the pain came back and the "walls of reality" went back up. When I was at the hospital I also remember all of these people wearing white standing around my bed talking about what they were going to do with me. When I asked my husband about it later he said there was no one in there but him, the doctor and a nurse. Seeing the people in white may have been a hallucination though. I was on a lot of pain killers by that point. But what happened to me in the car was more real than anything I have ever experienced, if that makes sense.

the entire human experience is one balancing on the edge of death and life. everything you have ever been is a near-death experience.

I would hate to think what it would be to accidentally kill anyone in any accident...it would be a living nightmare..but in time get over it...
Anyone thats says they felt good is full of BS...and should be locked up

that's true, everything is a near death experience. when you get in a car to drive that's a near death experience. doing things like swimming in the ocean on vacation is a near death experience...you could drowned or be attacked by a shark at any moment.
