Full Version: Ghost man's face in window--what did I find?

Last night at my college, Chestnut Hill, we had a ghost hunt with Patti Starr and Chip Coffey from ghosthunter.com, and we were going around the campus looking for spirit entities. Supposedly the school is very haunted; there are either catacombs for deceased nuns or a wartime tunnel underneath my dormitory building, and a cemetary was moved three times to make room for additional buildings.

We went down to an old gym where supposedly someone had died. I took a picture of some windows high up on the wall, and only later that night did I think to zoom in on them. What I saw freaked me out, real or not. I showed Patti and Chip and they said, "Oh my God."

Please check it out and tell me what you think it could be, if anything. I'd just like to know if I caught something. I also included a comparison photo where the entity or whatever it is does not appear, but there are pipes in the way.

(A little more about that night: Patti did an EVP in the same gym and everyone was dead silent for it. When she went to play it back there was a coughing sound, and then a woman said, "Where are you?" There was frequent static on the player but when Chip said two prayers of protection, one of which was the prayer to St. Michael, the static died only to start again once he was finished. Also, there were about 40 people in our group and many of them had cameras, and we were all getting pictures of huge orbs, orb clusters, and a few vortexes indoors.)

That doesn't look like a face to me.

Doesn't really look like much. A lot of speculation is what this will be. You'll say and want to believe it's real, but it's not good enough for proof. Good job though and thanks for posting the pics. Capture anything else?

You should post the EVP here.

Cheers,

I added brightness, and all that junk, i think its just a case of matrixing lol

There's something there ... just what is it?. It could be a flash reflection, moisture on the window, dust ... a whole bunch of things. That's what makes it questionable, maybe the OP will find some new pics with better definition.

Yeah, I'm still not sure that it's anything, but I did catch a ton of "orbs" in the gym. I'll post them under a new thread.

Good Job..Its hard to tell exactly whats in the window. The window is narror and quiet high up. Keep taking photos of your college cause you never know what you might capture..JN

Yeah, these things have little regard for staging or etiquette. They show when they want to. I carry at least two of three cameras with me almost always. And I assure you, the one time I forget them or am without, is when something phenomenal happens right in front of me. cool.gif Endeavor to persevere. Take more pics.

Nice advice. The photo does have something, and it is a pretty good photo. Can you post the other photos or the EVP?

Interesting pic but it must be just a fault. Thank you for sharing it with the forum!

As for orbs - even the guy who invented the term 'orb' now acknowledges that they're just dust/pollen etc

Who was that? Who invented the term "orb"? (I have a feeling I know who you'll say)

As far as I know, that term has been around since forever, being long used to described globular or spheric shapes. I believe that it was the UFOlogists who used it first as referring to possible paranormal items.
NoahJaymes
Well according to himself, self proclaimed, Dr. Dave Oester coined the term "orb" to describe the circular shape of anomalies caught on film.
