Okay... I don't even remember much about this movie, but would love someone to tell me what it is. It must've been from 10-15 years ago I guess.
There was a teenage girl with long dark hair. I believe she had a boyfriend. Then there was this weird kid (dark hair - kinda creepy) who lived nearby.
I THINK the weird kid killed the boyfriend? The girl gets kinda interested in creepy kid.
The biggest thing I remember is that the weird kid took videos of everything. There was a long sequence where the girl and the creepy kid watched a video of a plastic garbage bag flying around in an alley - just floating on the breeze and swirling around. And she gets all wide eyed and "That was beautiful!" about it.
What is this movie??
Anyone??

Was that it? Weird... I thought I saw it a lot earlier (in my life) that I saw that.
No, I didn't care much for it either.
THANKS! By the way.

Hello Purplos.
Yeah it's American Beauty. Oh do go back and watch the movie again.

(that is provided you like dark 'arty' films) The cast is great and the movie (IMO) is a great story about separation and the way that people can drift apart but still love each other and some of the whys this happens. It's the little things like the plastic bag (details) that people often overlook.
Regards,
Mabon.

The only thing good about that movie was Kevin Spacey working the drive thru.
