If you study all the religions and beliefs, all have the most common thing, and that is a god(s) or a higher self.
All the principals are mostly the same. blink.gif

Now if you ever seen or read about the Law of Attraction, there is so much that it have the same in religions. Why do we human beings crave for a higher being, I don't know and still trying to find out. disgust.gif

Would you say I'm insane to think that prayers and magic and using the law of attraction and calling and requesting your personal angels and so much more, is all the same thing? unsure.gif
(Okay I am insane yeah laugh.gif)

They say if you think you think and truely want something, you have to visualize your self with it and already 'know' it is yours. Now come on, ain't that the same as a prayer?? disgust.gif
You ask a god for something you truely want and usually they say if you dont believe in them that they would give it in there own time, then you won't get it. You have to believe in them.
I hear these days alot about that archangel stories and your own personal angel and so on, they basically the same... huh.gif

What do you think about my opinion? blink.gif

Well, I think I'll be going now sleepy.gif It is realllly late and I keep on posting things lol...

Sometimes prayer is just talking to God, Jesus, etc. Prayer isn't always about greed. Unforutnately, to many it seems that God is just a wishing well that will grant all their wishes.

No....that is faith

but most religions were made to the control energy of the people

I don't think of God as a wishing well, 'The Secret' (if you ever read or watchd it), say that you have to be thankfull.

Thanx for the replies all thumbsup.gif

I don't think it is possible for all religions to be the same. True there are some commonalities with the things it suggests we do, but they are actions, not beliefs. Every deity has its own set of requirements in order to be classified as a "follower" of that deity. And much of the time, those requirements differ significantly, often contradictorily with each other. If two different deities require two separate paths that contradict each other, it is logically impossible for them to be the same (regardless of how basic we make it). Logically there are only two possibilities. Either they are all wrong, or only one is right.

I do not think it is possible for them all to be "basically the same".

I know what you are talking about and supposedly there is evidence that the power of positive thinking/visualization is very powerful. (watched a thing on CNN ) Albeit the scientists don't know how it works but they have theories.
It's worked for me. It really has.

Maybe it a form of self-hypnosis and you "make things happen" on a sub-conscious level ?

People can accomplish this without any belief in a god or higher power but it may help some. But you have to believe (or in what your'e doing).

This stuff really interest me tho happy.gif

I kind of think it doesnt matter wich religion your in, all would help you the same.
I may think why there is so much religion on earth is that you may be comfortable to choose the best religion that you may find so that you can be the best you...
blink.gif hope you understand what i said lol ...

I've watch 'the secret' and really creeped me in a way laugh.gif
Few weeks just before I've watched it I became aware on my own about the Law of Attraction, in my own way that is. I thought I was starting to get insane and wanted to tell people what I think, but they didnt give me a change really to explain. So I try to say it to my mom and the next day she braught me this DVD of 'the secret and I watched it. blink.gif I was amazed...
Now actualy laugh.gif it looks like I've attracted this thing with my mind lol didnt even know such things exist and now these days so many people know about this.

Well, everyone still thinks I'm insane to believe such nonsense and stop watching movies and reading things like that. I've stopped to tell people it, because I was like a major christian and some close ppl looked up to me in a way and now I don't believe anymore. so I don't tell this to anyone, not to not look bad tho. I just tired to explain to ppl and they build a shell so they don't want to listen 2 me. Even my mother tooked me to several big believers and priests and so on so that they can convince me wrong. They say they listen, but they dont get what I'm saying. I'm just a child and they wont ofcoarse listen... 'im big, ur small - im right, ur wrong' type of thinking they have.

But anyway this was a long story happy.gif i said to much probaly hmm.gif

It seems to me that many religions are basically different, because they grow from the differences within people. However, I do think that there is only one "god" and it is manifested through the manipulation of energy and matter.

When people experience these manipulations in their own lives. they interpret the experience through both their own pre-existing personal beliefs, and also through what is the norm, and acceptable, cultural belief patterns of the time.

People who never have such personal experiences may reject the existence of god, or they may choose to "believe through faith," what ever avatar of god makes the most sense to their own personal and cultural contexts. In some times, and cultures, they may be given little choice but to accept the prevailing "form" of god and worship.

Thus gaea, and the abrahamic god, are the same entity, but one is interpreted through a culture for which the dynamics of nature and the earth is of great importance, while the other is interpreted through people with a great need for centralised order and structure; with a patriachal and somewhat mysoginist overlay, in both the old and new testaments.

Angels, and other manifestations of god, are not always created by any human belief structure or psychosis. They do exist as independent entities, and are capable of physical interaction with, and manipulation of, the physical environment in which we exist. While those that do not provide evidence of such abilities are often regarded as "hallucinations" this is not necessarily the case. Other non physical judgements may be employed, such as their ability to predict the future, or even change non material aspects of our lives.
