Over the past year, we've had three incidents that have got me completely puzzled. wacko.gif

The first incident involved both DB & I. We were asleep on our sides facing one another when I dreamed that someone told me to rub DB’s back, so I began to do so. Within a few minutes, he began rubbing my back. This went on for several minutes then DB suddenly sat up. I just rolled over and went back to sleep without thinking much about it. Later the next day, DB brought it up. Much to my surprise, he said he dreamed someone was in the room telling him to rub MY back.

The second incident was a bit more scary. I dreamed that someone was in our bed between DB & I. I jumped out of bed and ran almost to the front door of the apartment. We have a bar that separates the kitchen from the living room, and DB came running behind me to find me crouched below the bar. He had called after me, but I didn’t believe it was he so I wouldn’t go back into the bedroom.

Ok, now here is what I think is the worst of the lot. Last night, I was sound asleep almost in the middle of our queen-sized bed. The next thing I know, I was sprawled on the floor perpendicular to the bed, my legs up in the air against the side of the bed, with my right ankle tangled in the sheets. I don’t know what I dreamed, if anything, I just remember being shoved backwards. DB assures me it wasn’t him, and I’m sure it wasn’t. Whatever it was had enough force to lift and shove me from the middle of the bed completely off onto the floor. Fortunately, I didn’t hit my head, but I’ve messed up my left wrist pretty good and my right ankle is swollen. I probably dreamed about something that caused me to jerk back and end up on the floor, but it sure felt like I was being shoved.

Anybody got any ideas?

Welcome to the forum blondebutnotdumb how long have you been living in this apartment/house what ever? Has DB had any past relationships that might have some links? or even you? or ever had any past problems with your sleeping pattens. Does DB move around a lot in his sleep or suffer from night terrors?

I've been living in the apartment for two years, and he's lived there a few months longer. DB sometimes has dreams where he's vocal and moves around a bit, as do I, but no night terrors.

I've experienced a lot of death in my family, prior to meeting DB. It began in December of 1991 with the death of my father, January 1992 my maternal grandmother, May 1992 my infant son, and October of 1993 my half-brother. I've been married once before, but my ex is alive and well and lives in another city. DB has gone through the deaths of his grandparents, but all prior to moving into the apartment.

Hummmm. . . as you've probably already pondered, its a high probability that DB may have just pushed you in his sleep.
Has anything else strange happened in the apartment since you've both been there?
The whole death thing may just be a coinsidence? Is the right sorry im dyslexic.

Believe in yourself and your own feelings as to what you really think this is, instinct can be the best thing. As hard as it might be for you and your partner it's important that you learn to let go of your dearly departed loved ones. It's OK to really say goodbye and start healing your inner self. Believe me a similar thing happened to me and when my partner and I let go our room has been a place of peace! May peace and harmony come to you and your partner

Sounds like you just had a few bad dreams. It happens to everyone.
