yeah the first sin city was so great, especially bruce willis' scenes.
but there was always one thing i didnt understand about sin city. in the credits it says "special guest director Quentin Tarantino". what does that mean, exactly?? did he direct one scene, or was he sitting there advising robert rodruiguez, or what?

Tarantino didn't direct any whole segment, just one scene in the segment The Big Fat Kill: the one where we see Dwight (Clive Owen) imagining a conversation with the now-dead Jackie-Boy/Jack Rafferty (Benicio Del Toro), until the police stops him. He did it to return a favor for Robert Rodriquez, who scored Kill Bill vol. 2 for 1$, and Tarantino agreed to direct one scene for the same price. He also tested shooting in digital (HD), which Rodriquez is a supporter of, when Tarantino is (or atleast has been) a promoter of shooting film.

i liked sin city quite a bit, I just hope they don't screw up the sequel

i didnt realise it would be that far away. But from magazine reports is was ment for this year. But having a look around i dont see production times and details anywhere so it hasnt happened. And i dont think jolie will do it either
