I started a topic a few days ago about an experience I had where I encountered a beautiful girl who seemed to be made of mist who kissed me and my memory is blank for two hours after that. This topic was deleted, and I had convinced myself it was just a dream, but lately I have felt incredibly cold at random instances for only a few seconds. Also, while I was over my friend's house he looked shocked and when I asked what was wrong, he said he saw a transparant girl embracing me from behind for a split second. I have also been having odd dreams. Am I going insane, or could it be that I am being haunted? Someone please tell me if they know anything, and no slanderous comments please

First I would learn the history of the house you live in. Or any murders/suicides/or accidents that happened near your house. It could be the girl lost someone and took her life and sees you as a substitute. Or you are going crazy.(I doubt you are if your friend saw it) Just see what you can find then post it here.

I already looked into my house's past. There have been no previous owners. There have been deaths from things such as car accidents, but no more than anywhere else.

I first encountered her in the woods behind my house. As I said above, she kissed me and my memory is blank from that moment to two hours later, still in the woods

Yeah i was going down that road too, this sounds like a past experience, being triggered in some way and you thinking it's happening now, maybe?

If you have the means, perhaps seek out a legitimate and honest medium. By what you described, it could be that you caught glimpses of what some call spirit guides. Sometimes, a medium might give us some insight that we can further validate ourselves after we get an idea of which way to go with it. However, the kiss has me puzzled.
Is it still around?

check out the history in the region...any number of things could be the basis for this encounter...any medical history of diabetes, black outs, etc?

If you rule out any medical conditions it's time to start getting scientific about your problem. First of all, carry a camera around with you everywhere. You never know when the lady you see will show up. If she does, take some pictures. If she shows up in the photos, post them here. We will be able to prove you aren't going crazy. You can get a cheap throw away camera that will work fine if you don't have one to use.
Also, look into buying a EMF device such as K2 meter so you can take readings when you see this women or you start to feel cold. You can do a lot of things to prove to yourself and to others that you aren't crazy.
It is possible that you are insane too..heh, lets hope you aren't. Until we know what you are really dealing with, it's hard to offer advice.

I heard something about spirits haunting objects. Is it possible I own something that is haunted?

Now you're thinking. Any new purchases lately, or perhaps gifts? Find any relics? New abode? Perhaps a new friendship has brought you an attachment? The possibilities are endless, but well worth exploring. Good luck my friend. ~Jackal

I was going to suggest getting a psychological evaluation... but, seeing as your friend experienced it to, I guess there is no point in getting one, is there?

As somebody already stated, check the history of your house and determine whether or not any violent "murders" or "suicides" occurred there.

I don't know why I didn't realize it sooner. I am an avid weapon collector and have a fairly large collection (even though I'm only 16). Also, I go to a fencing club about three times a week and love fencing. Two weeks ago, I was at a weekly swap meet and the person who sells swords and other weapons had a fencing sabre on display that caught my attention immediately. Its an incredible weapon, although the original blade has been replaced. It has a French-style handle and the hilt has a unique wolf shape and is made of silver. I bought it immediately (for $125). I haven't bought anything else since then, and there is no violent history anywhere close to my house. I'll inspect it closer when I get home (I only really have internet access from my school's computers or early in the morning). Also, to answer Hezzbelle, she is still around. An hour ago, I had my gym class and while I was changing, someone said "Hey! This is the boy's locker room!". He said he thought he saw a girl, and when he said it, I felt the cold again. To answer randomhit10, I have a perfect medical record. I'll post the results of my inspection tomorrow if I can

I'm intrigued. It doesn't sound like this is bothersome. And I find it amazing that others may be seeing her also.
Cool hobby Shadow. You should be able to trace the history on that epee a bit. See if there is any link. You might find that there is not.

So, if it is the fencing sword that is haunted, I don't understand why the woman would be seen when you were not with the sword. If I were you, though, I would go back to the gentlemen you bought the sword from and ask him if he had any similar experience. He may look at you like you are crazy, but if he did, he would probably be glad to tell you.

That is pretty wild. As Girl said, take a camera with you and try and get a photo. Seems she is all over the place. Is it possible that its a girl from school who died tragically? JN

I find something intriguing when it come to attached inanimate objects. Especially something like a rapier or anything that has not only witnessed the passing of life, but taken it as well.
A French silver wolf should be fun research, it reminds me of the days when Gevaudan was under the paw of some great beast in the hills of France. Nearly 100 people were lost to this beast in Gevaudan between 1764 and 1767. Werewolves were significant in those days.
Or perhaps the blade took the life of some French lovely, in jealousy and revenge. Or perhaps the young lady you see is the actual former weilder of the steel, and the wolf was her moniker and seal. It is my totem as well. Or more sinister yet, the steel was painstakingly created, and endowed with the silver wolf for an expressed purpose. Battling werewolves maybe? lol. It is all mere suposition. But I hope you find a fascinating account, and share your discovery with us when you do. ~Jackal

If you can see a medium who specialises in psychometry.........they can tap into the energy/spirit of the sabre and pick up things from the other side.

On the hilt, the name "Lily Belmont" is engraved on the wolf's tail. It's very small so before I decided to take a closer look, I must have just thought it was part of the design (the letters are engraved in a fancy way). Also, when I used a magnifying glass to help me read it, I saw very small dull red stains in the letters. I'm going to examine it again tonight. If I find anything else, I'll post it.

Knight of the Twilight

I don't know the age of the weapon, but it looks pretty old. The handle is worn and the silver has turned dull in some places. Also, it must be a custom weapon because I tried to identify the design but I couldn't find anything

Better not to acknowledge her or interact with her till you find out what's going on. Find a reputable medium if you can to cleanse the sword and give you more information.

Truthfully, I get what you're saying. Because of demon boy in the next thread over, plus all the other demon stories we've endured we're all a little gun-shy about unusual stories lately. However, I'm not sure. He hasn't told us anything really out of the norm.
I'll reserve judgment for a while longer.

I have a confession about my "dark erotic stories". I have only written one....and that one is based off something horrible that happened to me....I thought at first the girl I'm seeing is my repression of that event, but that girl is not the one who did it to me (her hair is too long and her face is different) and also it wouldn't explain why others are seeing her. The story I am writing is my own confession of that event, set in a fictional world. I never told anybody what she did to me. I put that I like to write dark erotic stories, because I wanted to hide my confession and my suffering, in case anyone began to wonder if I was drawing from my own past. I have several friends on that site that mean the world to me and I feel that I must be strong for them....so I hid my confession in my story. I didn't want anyone to even know something horrible had happened to me, but I guess it must be said if I want more help here and not be labeled a liar....In case anyone is wondering, the girl who caused my suffering was a friend of my friend's older sister, and is already serving four years in jail for repeated theft (she will be released in two, as she was sentenced two years ago)....I don't yet know what I will do when she get's out....but I do know I can never forgive her....

So, before I go into my own thoughts on this whole affair, do you have a picture of this sword? Particularly of the engraving?
Knight of the Twilight
Nov 9 2007, 02:03 PM
The girl in the thread is NOT made up. The story I am referring to is posted on another site and is a complete work of fiction based off the horrible thing that happened to me. It is irrelevent to this. I just didn't want people to think this was just a story I wrote if the followed the link Angel posted. Also, I don't have a picture of the sword, nor do I have the ability to post one if I did. The only time I have been able to post any photos anywhere was when I posted cosplay photos of myself at an anime convention, and I was only able to do that from a friend's house (who moved away last month). My own computer isn't exactly great, I can't even put pictures on it. Before I forget, are spirits known to appear to warn someone about the consequences of future actions or something like that?

This is reading like a romance novel. Is anyone else noticing how perfectly all the pieces are fitting together?
Ghostly kiss. Beautiful spirit following a 16 year old boy around. He realizes he just purchased an antique weapon. It has a name on it. Lily Belmont. There may be blood on it too.
Next he might find a letter stuck in an old book he buys at the thrift store, and it might be a love letter from Lily to some guy who was accidentally killed on Lily's custom made sword, and she killed herself too, and has been looking for her lost love ever since then.
Of course, our storyteller looked incredibly like the handsome hero from beyond the grave, so the lovely ghost Lily is confused and has fallen in love with a living person.
Very nice story. I'd say you might have a career in writing, as long as you come up with more original stories.

Believe me or not, I don't care. I came here for possible answers, not to have people say "Wow! Look at this incredible story!". If you believe me and can help me, thank you. If you don't, then go back and read another thread. By the way, I found out the stains aren't blood, just a stain from the metal polish I applied before I found the engraving (I noticed the same stains on some of my other weapons). I started this thread because I felt like I was going insane, not to be badgered. I politely asked from the start, no slanderous comments please.
It's a sweet and endearing story and I believe you have come here with honest intentions. You have been honest from the start so I'll believe ya. I think you should take this sword to a medium it's the only way you will find out if there really is a connection

I've done it several times myself with various objects found (and some handed down to me) to test the theory of mediumship, and you might be suprised at what you find out.

If its any help I had something similar happen to me. The thing was I was "haunted" by a woman with red hair. The strange thing was my friends experienced her more than I did. I hardly ever saw her but my friends would see her and dream about her regularly. She was always seen standing behind me and they felt as if she was protecting me. I suspect she was/is my guardian although she has not been around for many years (about 22 years). I assume you are quite young (under 20), perhaps she is guarding you? If you are going through changes in your life.....spiritual changes usualy bring these occurences and may not be threatening to you at all. You are the expert on you and I am sure you must have some idea what is going on, but perhaps do not wish to acknowledge it as it would seem that you are "Crazy".

At the suggestions of others, I did go to the person who sold me the sword and asked him about it on Saturday. Lily Belmont was his daughter who comitted suicide 30 years ago at the age of 18....she used the original blade to do it. He said he couldn't bear to possess the sword anymore. He gave me her diary on Sunday and I've been reading it since. She was so depressed....the last page is her suicide note....the only question I have left is, do ghosts try to warn people about the consequences of their future actions? I asked this question earlier and hadn't gotten a response yet.
