Don't some Christians believe that our physical bodies will ascend to Heaven at the apocolypse or something like that?

Me? Bodies are biological machines. Once the switch is thrown and the power disipates, there is just a bag of organic compounds. Fertilizer.

This is (non religous reincarnation) at it's best, we live - we die - something else lives - it dies....etc etc etc, you get the picture.

it's not that we're a body that contains a soul or spirit, we're living souls or spirits wearing a body. shed it like a shirt, put another one on later.

we're living souls and yes we do live on but not this world it is a other world and we see and see every 1 onces again on the other side of world we all are liveing souls and liveing spirits .

pretty much agree with this . although im not certain of reincarnation myself but i think were a conciousness with a body rather than a body with a conciousness . what happens after and wether we return to another body is a mystery but well all find out one day i guess .

yeah I don't believe in reincarnation either, but I do include it in thoughts for others... putting another one on later doesn't Have to mean reincarnation...

yeah im still up and down on the reincarnation thing . how much do i wanna come back here ya know. but it would be great if we could get a new suit maybe an alien one and all experience other planets hmm that sounds a bit far out but who knows . not I lol

Our physical bodies become part of the earth, however we are also energy, thus we also follow physics, so we are not destroyed, we are converted. Of course this is the "crude" simple version.

What is physical, remains as physical, what is spiritual, remains spiritual.

Actually no Christians don't believe that. At least none that i know of. There have been only two people in the recorded history of Christianity that have actually been taken up to heaven to live with God while they were still alive. What you are referring to is the end of time where the Earth is folded up and remade as it should have been. Perfect. The Christians and Believers from all time are given new bodies which are likewise perfect, and they are given stewardship over all creation. Thats what i think you are referring to in a nutshell.

There are many different theories as to what sorts of bodies we will be given. No real way of knowing however.

OMG, I was just watching Allison Dubua live on the Morning Show. Allison said that our spirit lives on after death and so does every living thing.
Also she mentioned that the dead are quite humorous and Its a pleasure to be able to talk to them. She understands their emoitions better than some humans.
Finally, she can also sence a sickness within ones body, "this is hard to deal with sometimes" this she mentioned was the only hinderance she has with her gift.

Whether we stick around after as spirits or not , I dont know, what I do know Is that there is something most definantly left behind when someone passes.

I hope so, I wanna know that theres gunna be a massive party at the end of the road, after taking the challenge of life!

Well, when we pass on and feel our last breath leave our lungs all becomes dark...until we see the Light...with all your friends and family and all your pets and look...there's mum and dad...and your brothers and sisters...and little Sparky the poodle you backed over...you behold the beauty of the pearly white gates...you hear angelic singing...a feeling of euphoria and content overcomes you until...you wake up with a doctor beating on your chest. Haha, pwnd.

How on earth does she know that? nobody knows what happens after death ,my own version is ,nothing happens, when your dead your dead ,however that is only my personal view

Yeah......dunno mate. I assumed when she said "the dead are quite humorous and Its a pleasure to be able to talk to them" she somewhat speaks to them on a very personal level. Im not so sure about whether shes ever said she knows where they are or what level the spirt is in.
Shes written a few books to.

From what Ive leant theres so many aspects that ppl beleive about the after life.

I can't imagine the dead have much to be humorous about
