Full Version: Pilots to Tell Their UFO Stories

November 7, 2007 -- The American public is not alone when it comes to sighting what the US Air Force has labeled Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). So too have former governors, high level military and government officials, highly trained airplane pilots and aviation experts. The phenomenon is real. It happens worldwide. No one is sure about its nature. Experts from seven countries will divulge what they have discovered about UFOs at a November 12 panel discussion moderated by former Arizona Governor Fife Symington ® at the National Press Club

Just one year ago, pilots, mechanics and managers from United Airlines witnessed a metallic disc-shaped object hovering over the United Airlines Terminal at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. The clearly observed object shot straight up leaving a hole through the clouds. Despite the clear aviation safety issues involved, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) never investigated the incident and dismissed it as weather. This head-in-the-clouds refusal to investigate stands in sharp contrast to efforts by governments of other countries to understand these incidents.

It does not matter, most people are not interested in witnesess, which is a shame, considering how many witnesess have come forward from the militery, governments, nasa. These people, some held in high regards are no longer held in high regards as soon as they do this. But most people miss the point. These are ufo's, and there is enough evidence, more than enough evidence that this should be taken seriosly, but its not. An example is the O’Hare Airport ufo. This sighting was not even investigated, and, once again, we heard a rather stupid explanation for what happend, very insulting to the people who saw the ufo. I hope more and more people come forward, because people need to open there eyes to the ufo phenomona.

I agree that people should be more open towards the possibility of extraterrestrial visits, but can you really blame people for not believing in it, considering how many loonies, frauds and hoaxes that have been exposed?

Yep, i understand where you are coming from, but the more people who come forward who worked, or worked in militery, governments, nasa etc, then thats a good thing. The problem is people dont want to get involved in the ufo phenomona, just because of the "ET" explanation, which means that the ufo subject is pushed under the carpet.

Pilot sightings are very impressive, especially when their sightings are corroborated by dissimilar ground-based and airborne radar systems and ground-based witnesses, as has been the case in many incidents.

It's understandable why Pilots don't come forward...especially commercial pilots...

The first sign of mental illness or the body's un-acceptingness of pressurised conditions and they can lose their flying privileges and consequently their livelihoods.

The problem that this creates is that a lot of cases are not recent accounts, and usually surface when the pilot has retired or changed professions. Unfortunately in the time that has elapsed since the incident, memories of events can become distorted and we are no longer getting the primary evidence they need to support their claims.

I'm a firm believer that a lot of pilots have witnessed genuine UFO phenomenon, however they suppress the information themselves to save ridicule and physical examinations....despite the fact (in the interest of national security) there are proper channels that they can follow to report UFO incidents.

For every pilot report, there are many others that go unreported for that very reason. The pilot of Japan Airlines flight 1628 got busted because of his UFO encounter over Alaska even though other military and commercial aircrews reported the gigantic saucer-shaped UFO the size of a ship as well, which I might add, was also tracked by airborne and ground-based radars of the FAA and of the Air Force.

During the Disclosure Project press conference, former NASA employee, Donna Hare, revealed how NASA managed to cover up and erase anomalies such as UFOs from satellite photos. She was a female slide technician and received numerous space awards including 1969 Apollo Achievement award from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, 1973 Skylab award, a medallion for success on the Skylab-Suez Test project. Other awards for her skill as a technical Artist includes a 1994 recommendation by Texas Governor Ann Richards to the Advisory Committee of Psychology Associates.
