Ok so the band that I drum for, currently going by Stonecry, is changing its name and we need YOUR help! So please vote in the poll, whichever one gets more votes, wins. If you think of any more, PM me.

And some people want to know what we sound like but um.....I'm not sure you'd want that. lol if you say so. but keep in mind, we're not that good yet, the vocalist. only screams, and we didn't have the best recording equipment. We're just a garage band. (and we will make a vocalist SING eventually) so visit if you dare. When we recorded this song we were just doing it for fun.

Yo, Stonecry is best. Easier name gets easier through ears. I was playing bass on a band on my high school years, we did some gigs, the audience love our music, but can't remember our name, as it was somehow difficult to pronounce and of course, to remember.

It seems that you're playing that hard n heavy rock type of music. If you're thinking about a catchy and unique band name, why don't go tottaly radical than any rock band has ever used? I was thinking about names like...umm..."Strawberry Marshmallow"?

You know, something very opposite of a hard rock type of name. I dunno, just an idea.

Seriously, I've talked with Pan and Mr. Hood a bit. You guys are pretty good, you just have to get things worked out. Work on some lyrics, guys, and harmony. You guys are looking to have an effect on both genres, aren't you? Maybe you could work your singing voice into that. Christianity + Thrash Metal = change. Go with it!

Oh, and don't change the name. Stick with Stonecry. It's every bit as hardcore a name as Mastadon, Sevendust or...God forbid, Korn. *is ashamed he's familiar with their "music" and for referring to them as hardcore*

To be honest I think all the names are pretty blah and even the current name Stonecry doesn't do much for me either.

Seeing as how I don't know what music you play or what your band is about it makes it all the much more difficult to help you pick a name.
