Well Guys im from philippines. . and this is last 2003. i dont know anyone believe in mermaids but me i believe in it.
because in this story a fisherman accidentally killed it. he thought it was a big fish. he got no idea that was a mermaid. . .
and then he found out that was mermaid. and now the mermaid has been preserve in one of the famous museum in manila ..[Manila - capital of philippines]

I'll have to reconsider the ol' seamen account of the beautiful, singing mermaid sitting on rocks, I guess Rum and the swaying of the sea is a bad combination after all. Anyway, I think it's a fake, like the Barnum's Feejee mermaid, I think it's a fabrication.

I think I've seen those pics before somewhere. It was a fake IIRC.

Yeah these were debunked long ago. More than likely they were sold on eBay too. Tends to happen to these things.
