Azael

Ever since I was a small child, I've had a thirst for knowledge.
In the last four years, however, I've been studying theology and supernatural phenomena.
The follow events actually transpired. I want your opinions on it.
Four years ago when I began studying these phenomena, I centered on one figured in Christian and Jewish mythos - Azael (Whom God Strengthens).
From what I learned, he was an angel who slept with Lamech's daughter Naamah, he who revealed the arcana to Solomon, one who opposed the Metatron, and he who taught men to make weapons and women to wear make-up.
As a rebel with Lucifer, he fell from Grace and was punished to be chained to sharp stones in the desert until the apocalypse.
I was obsessed with him. I felt a connection with him, and even drew a character based on him.
Some time in the last year (I don't remember when exactly), I had been walking home at night and feeling quite down. I sort of "prayed" to Azael.
In my mock prayer I said we were "kindred spirits", doing what we thought best. I mumbled that if we ever met we'd be sure to seek "redemption" together.
Never tempt a fallen angel.
A few monthes ago, my father awoke me (I'm 17. 18 in February) in the middle of the night because he heard hissing and growls, or as he put it; "It was like the exorcist".
I had no knowledge of this until he told me the following evening.
The memories flooded back - there was a light emanating from the corner of my room. It was like midday. In the corner there was a black form with white slits peering out from it. I began roaring at it... I hated and feared it, but I could not control myself or understand why.
Suddenly, the door opened and my dad flicked the lights on. The form melted back into the corner.
My father asked "What's wrong?"
I rubbed my face and mumbled "Nothing. It was just a nightmare."
I don't know why I said that, but then I fell back into bed and was asleep.
I e-mailed my story to researcher Mr.Zaffis (Nephew of the Amityville researchers, the Warrens), but he has yet to respond.
Am I going crazy, subconciously seeing what I want to see, or am I experience something supernatural?

I think you'll find it's all subconcious.........
I have known people to get tangled up in the dark stuff. It's not skilled ~ things happen very quickly & very easily. It's instant gratification. No real dedication called for. But it will screw you up.

Boy. You made one really stupid mistake! There are some things that we were never intended to do. NEVER try to mess with something that is a lot more powerful than you. I would say go talk to a Priest or pastor immediately. You got what you wanted; now you have to do some hard work to lose it. Before you lose control of yourself.

How do I know if I'm losing control or not?
In any case, at least I was baptized into the Roman Catholic faith. They seem to know a great deal more about this kind of things than they let on.
I'd give anything just to walk freely into their archives at the Vatican.

Dealing with descended Angels is always bad, They have free will and can move about , since they were never "Alive" Humans on the other hand when we die go to heaven or hell and stay there (Unless God Wants us to do something ect.) the point is once we move on were stuck even if we have the option to wait awhile before we do. Remember these descended angels have as much free will as we do and there intentions our always revenge.

Oy vey...
What always interested me about Azael is that he is one of two angels that were never expelled from Earth (The other being Black Stone, a good angel who is built into the Kaaba). I read somewhere that angels do not have souls like mortals do.
I just don't understand why they would be so malign.
I mean, doesn't the trinity offer redemption to anyone who would suffer for it?
If a fallen angel ever tried, they could surely get in God's good graces again.
I don't know. Maybe I believe in the good in everything too much.
I'm feeling kind of detatched. Like I just woke up but still glazed over.
In the afternoon, I had a nap and when I woke up at 4:30 since then I've been feeling weird (It's 6:30 now).
Man, today is not my good week...

Let me rephrase that. You have lost control; now you have to gain it back.

I don't understand.
I'm in control.
I'm not speaking in tongues or anything.

I understand that. But you have challenged something far more powerful than you, and he has called your bluff. You said yourself that you were uncontrolably afraid of this thing when you saw it; and if something is able to cause this type of response from you, then I doubt that you have the upper hand.
That is unless you are misleading us and this is all one real crass joke. Then of course you would still be in control, and everything would be fine. But if this is a real problem; then it is extremely serious. Believe me I worked for a year and a half with delienquents. Many of these kids were on drugs when they came o the place that I was working at; those were the easy cases. The hard ones were the ones who had opened themselves up to spiritual attack, and who were being tormented really by spirits. I saw some weird things; like a kid go from smiling to lunging at me with a knife in his hand, only for him to be frozen in midstep with no one holding him.
You right now are in a battle. It may not seem like much right now; but it will get worse. And the winner will take your soul.
Take care. Take Great care.

Well, subconcious or not, your Dad heard some weird stuff going on, hissing and growling like the exorcist. So I would be trying to play the safe route. You said you entered the Catholic faith, so you're making steps. Prayer is a huge help. Ask for help and protection from the Creator, or God or what ever you may call it. I know you're asking if this is real or not and I don't know if you want to be rid of this entity but I can only tell you what I would do. I wouldn't mess around with trying to pray to fallen angels anymore, either. Subconscious or real, it sounds like it scared the $#!% out of you!

Well, I wasn't as scared as I was angry.
From what I know about demons by studying the experiences of the Warrens, I know that demons and fallen spirits are only as powerful as you allow them to be.
How does a demon contend with a will that can't be bent or broken?
Or something like that.
I mean, if I stand up to it, it can't do anything to me unless I let it.

Well, there are two sides to every story.
On the church's side of it, Lucifer was the first being granted free will and was the greatest among the archangels. For all he had, he thought he himself was as God. In effect, Lucifer thought he should sit on the throne of heaven and not God.
Lucifer rebelled, and was quashed. This is why the one of the 7 cardinal sins is associated with Lucifer - pride.
On Lucifer's side, there is a sort of conspiracy brewing that Lucifer's free will made him see what God was doing - merely puppeteering the universe; everything his mere playthings and sources of amusement. Lucifer thought this was wrong and sought to oust God and rebelled. This idea may explain why other angels rebelled with Lucifer.
The only thing I could really want from a being like Azael would be the secrets in the arcanna that he once guarded. Imagine having all the knowledge in the universe - it is a driving force behind much of what humanity does. To explore, to question, to know. Humanity pushes the concept of free will to the limits - we even question free will itself.
I don't know anymore. I'll have to wait until I experience something again.

Gods power is so awesome it is impossible to comprehend Azeal. As you have already demonstrated just by openly asking "Azeal" to talk to you ect.. you make descisions before you fully understand the altercations, although it does sound pretty cool to get to talk to a fallen angel

If God chooses to control the universe why shouldnt he? how does a supreme omnipotent being occupy himself? he makes a civilization full of f*** ups like me

anyway keep us filled in on your story!

fn openly asking a fallen angel or even demon for advice, or help....
well that's sh** i'ed never mess with, but it's strange that it would disappear when your dad came in..... i see it this way, its not that powerful of an entity or at least not yet. if it was is would have no problem fightening another member of your family.......... unless it just needs to frighten you. i'ed get your room or even house blessed. my grandparents did........ but their thoes kind of super holy people, just an idea though
