It looks like a sweeping flash of light from the lightbulb. Perhaps the flickering monitor was fluctuations in electricity.

If it is not a REAL dog, how do you know it's not his power animal, or animal spirit guide/ Why does everyone jump to the conclusion that it is a demon? I guess people just like being spooked

I have no ceiling fan in loft , but do have a gaming computer to the right that has blue light and a clear case....But , as I mentioned , I took 5 pic's in a row...This was only one that looked this way.And remember I did this more or less as a " why not" thing...The monitor had been doing weird things right before I took the pic's..I like some of the comments though , except the arguing....
I need to explain the monitor though , as I said , this is a Gaming Computer , and VERY well taken care of.Never had problems before , and have not since...Not that this means anything , but around same time this happened ( within hour) my wife informed me my dentist died same day.He just did a lot of work on me....I am in no way implying this has anything to do with this at all....
Just a cool pic i thought and wanted some feedback....

I can see immediately, that the widest band of the disturbance matches the boundaries of the open window on your screen, and the next band coincides with the width of the white stripe at the bottom right of your screen. This strongly indicates to me that it is merely an anomaly related to the white portions of your monitors imagery in relation to the white balance mechanisms of your camera. ~Jackal

It's not motion blurriness due to the fact that nothing else in the photo looks blurry. However, the radio on top of the monitor (is it a radio?) looks a bit shiny in a couple places, so it could just be the light bouncing off of it. I think anytime you take a photo into a highly reflective surface live a computer monitor screen or TV screen you are asking for debate. This could very well be a refraction of light off of the monitor screen. It also looks like it could be a hair or cigarette smoke. I am always skeptical of of anomalies that show up coming from above the camera lens, below or from either side. Usually that means it is an external object getting in the way.
FYLGJA - I have looked at your photography before and enjoyed it very much. You are very talented and obviously anyone who is a professional photographer has valuable and insightful knowledge into anomalies showing up on film.
JN just cannot stand it when anyone disagrees with her because she seems to think most everything is a ghost or a demon. This is the same woman who takes pictures of her index finger and claims it is her deceased grandparents. Or a picture of a dust orb and light reflection off of a surface and calls it a ghost. Unfortunately people who also lack critical thinking and have a similar maturity level chose to believe what she says because her words support their fanastical delusions. She prefers to ignore people who actually have a background, experience and education because they contradict the fantasy she has sadly chosen to believe. Not everything is a demon or ghost. Finding a logical, rational explanation for events is a huge part of being a paranormal investigator - in the act of debunking you also uncover the truth; paranormal or otherwise.
