see i made a topic a long time ago, about whether or not lois or peter could understand stewie.. i knew they could, its clear in some episodes, but much clearer in the (stewie kills lois pt.2).. so i guess they always did understand him? they just ignored him?

Good question... I'd always assumed they couldn't hear him (or else I'm sure Lois would have had him committed to a psychiatric ward by now tongue.gif) but then at times, like you said, it seems like they can understand him. I dunno... I'm still going with the assumption that they can't, simply cause a child who constantly calls out death threats would be a cause for concern. There's only so much of that you can ignore happy.gif

i thought they couldnt understand him. I thought it was just baby to speak to them. But if they can understand the dog then i guess anything is possible

Or we can just remember that it's a very random cartoon comedy... wink2.gif

Or is this just me.

I didnt think they could understand him ( but yes....understanding Brian kind of throws me offl lol )
So not really sure...
The shows hilarious though....the kind that you just sit there kind of stunned saying "no they didnt" LOL
Bear's Quest
Hmmm? I always thought it was baby talk, like Stewie-'goo goo ga ga poo poo' Lois-'h you need your daiper changed and pete is stuck in the well and he accidently lit off a stick of dynamite that if we don't get there in time, the dam will break and the town downstream will flood and disappear!

Well, maybe not like that.? tongue.gif

I think in the early episodes they didn't understand him... but as time went on and plot material was ran out of they could sometimes understand him.

...by the way that 100th episode was a complete disapointment for me... and I'm a loyal fan of that show. hmm.gif

If that was the one that was filled mostly with scenes of previous shows....I agree sad.gif

Well... technically THAT was the 100th episode but they considered more of a prelude to the 'actual' 100th episode. So I guess it should have been the 101st and 102nd episodes since they pulled a 'to be continued' on us.

I still say it's inconsistent.
