Romania - Aurel Raileanu, 40, discovered his healing abilities after getting a job at a local hospital.

"People I came into contact with repeatedly said they had a feeling of intense energy after I laid hands on them," said Aurel.

"Torn ligaments seemed to heal faster, and headaches from migraine sufferers vanished immediately after I came into contact with sufferers."

Aurel became known as 'Magnet Man' for his amazing ability to make objects stick to his body - a gift he has had since childhood. He doesn't know how it works, and it's not just metal that he is able to attract.

He focuses his attention on heavy objects and they suddenly become glued to him. He can keep a TV set weighing 50lbs on his chest without any wires, glue or string.

Aurel, who lives in a run down area of Bucharest, said: "If I can lay hands on people, or merely stand in their presence and have my magnetic field bring some relief, then I think that is my duty."

If he's got that stuck to him by some force other than friction then why does he have to lean back like that. Also he has no shirt on which helps in the friction department.

I'd be more impressed if he could do that with a silk shirt on.

Maybe if he stand up straight :

1. That thing will fall down. Either becausehis ability is fake.. or the "magnet" isn't that strong
2. It will hurt his skin as that thing is heavy

you can only hang soo much weight on a magnet, that is stuck to a vertical surface, before it begins to slide down. also, for his gift/trick to work the object may have to have direct contact with his skin. you can test both theories with a magnet on your refrigerator.

Give over, he isn't exactly bending over backwards! blink.gif Perhaps silk would block any magnet effect, I have no idea, whatever happens, it is pretty neat in my opinion.

If the thing were not stuck to him it would just slide off, even at that angle.
