1:I think that everyone should make the effort to make their posts make as much sense as possible. It makes it easier on those who are reading them. It's really not that hard to do.
2:Please don't take offense - just think of it as courtesy to others. If everyone jumped off a cliff, would you?

on your point 1:
i think you are being insulting to the rest of the um members if u think they cant figure out that ccan was obviously meant to mean can!
and on your point 2:
erm well...... im sorry its toooooooooo (which for the simple people which who cant understand, thats an extreme form of too) random to even respond to!
anyway lets stop this pathetic arguing and get on with answering my question!
(any more replies after this on spelling and the like will be treated as an insult to those people simply wanting to quiz and answer, as it really interrupts the flow)
thankyou, so bleeding heart, how long will it be.......

QUOTE (snuffypuffer @ Aug 17 2003, 07:31 PM) QUOTE (SaRuMaN @ Aug 17 2003, 06:13 PM) Here's a starter question to get things rolling :
Q. Which American president created the F.B.I. ?
Herbert Hoover? Or am I confusing J. Edgar Hoover?
J.Edgar Hoover is correct, your one point up already. |
Correct answer is 1908. At the request of President Theodore Roosevelt, an investigative branch of the Department of Justice was created. It was headed by Chief Examiner Stanley Finch. J.Edgar Hoover didn't become director until 1924. And he was never president.
