I always fear ghosts so i would like to ask you all what are your views about ghosts

You will get many different answers here. IMO, ghosts are residual, you may be aware of them, however they are not aware of you. Spirits are intelligent. They know you are there as well as you know they are there (sometimes).

Only reason people fear, is because people fear the unknown, or had a bad experience of some sort.

Many people will come to this thread telling you their stories, which will indeed influence you much like Hollywood has influenced the minds of many.

Its on you if you scare easily or not.

lol, u still scared about ghosts woe? well, u know what I think. Ghosts are real but not in the way you think of them. I think they're peoples "souls" if you will, trapped in our magnetic barrier. just a theory though, I dont believe they can harm u at all. its like being scared of barney the dinosaur. Completely harmless, spirits on the other hand are a different story.

stories woe? ok, well, a while ago when I was a kid I was at my grandmas. I was crashing on the couch (I liked the couch) watching TV when I heard something open the basement door. I saw a nun walk up and out towards the door. I later found out the home used to be a churchhouse.

my house was/is haunted by a construction worker. during the construction of my home (a good 60-70 years ago) a construction worker was crushed.

hmm, o yeah. I got one more. My friend Aaron's house. To this day her angry spirit hides in his large playroom on the second floor. She wears a white nightgown, has long red hair. and glares. as it turns out the orriginaly owner of the house had a daughter. unfortunetely the house caught fire and she died. she scares the crap outta him sometimes. once (this is 100% true) she actually knocked over a space heater they had and the upstairs hall caught fire. the whole top floor was nearly destroyed that night. Luckily Rick (his dad) was the only one up there and he got out in time. so yeah, hows that for a ghost story? lol

I don't know for sure what they are but I certainly believe they are real.
Anybody see that movie 1408? My mother's friend is employed at a nursing home and she says they have a haunted room there and everybody who has been in there has had a fright some kind. She told us that every resident they placed in there died within months and they all complained about strange things happening. For example some claimed their TVs would turn on and off in the middle of the night. The faucets in the bathrooms would come on by themselves. They would wake up in the morning and find things have been moved including chairs.
They eventually turned that room into a storeroom but she said weird things still happen in there and all of the employees are afraid when they have to go in there for something.

I think, not only are ghosts the spirits of dead people...I think they are quite capable of causing dead people. Heh Heh. Just my humble opinion. ~Jackal
