Indrid Cold
In old town San Diego, there is an old museum/landmark called The Whaley House, it is a reported haunted house as well. If you haven't heard of it, heres a link for reference http://www.whaleyhouse.org/

I will be taking numerous photographs, and if anything interesting comes up, I will post them for you all to see and make your own assumptions.
One particular ghost I am going to try my best to capture is the ghost of "Yankee Jim" a man who was hung on the property, his apparition can sometimes be seen hanging from the inside doorway. I will try to take more photos in that area.

I will keep you all updated tonight!!!

Oh, I wish I could go. The few places we have here in Jacksonville, FL that are supposedly haunted are...well...not. I've been to St. Augustine, and seen a few questionable things, but I have heard of the Whaley house.

Be careful and bring back pics!

Should be interesting. I know for a fact that I am NOT a sensitive when it comes to SEEING ghosts in person, I've been to places that are extremely haunted (my old house) and I never SAW anything. One thing that DOES happen to me, is that I get a strange feeling inside me thats cold and fearful whenever I am supposedly in the presence of a spirit. And the last time I was at the Whaley House (i didn't go inside, I was outside in the garden), I felt like I was being watched and I felt really cold all of a sudden. I've never been in the whaley house, I've only been outside, so this should hopefully be an interesting experience. I'll be using a digital camera, and I'm going to alternate between using flash and not using flash so that I can see what different results I get, and one thing I don't like about using flash is that it makes things look "ghostly" when they aren't. I'll be there with my girlfriend as well, and she may be a sensitive so we'll see how things go.

Like I said, I'll post any interesting things that hopefully will happen, and I will most definitely post pictures that come to my attention later tonight once i'm back.

Wear a upside down cross, and keep shouting..."I DARE YOU TO FOLLOW ME HOME" over and over when you are investigating.

(giggle)

I look forward to your photos.

original.gif My visit to the Whaley House was at the most very most disapointing. When I first entered, I felt rather nervous, as if I shouldn't go in. But as soon as I went in everything was fine and it felt like a stroll in the park. It WAS very creepy in there, especially since we went in at night, but nothing special honestly.

I happened to take many pictures, NONE of which had anything special in them except for a couple.

And beforehand, let me tell you I am a VERY skeptical person when it comes to ghost photographs. Like I've said a billion times, it depends whos looking and what you're looking for. As I took these photos and reviewed them on my computer back home, I was OF COURSE looking for ghosts or anything that looks evil. With that said, take your own way of looking and look at these pictures. Keep in mind, I AM NOT HIDING OR LYING ABOUT ANY OF THESE, I have no reason to. The pics I am about to post had a GLASS WALL in front of me before I took the pic. Meaning that the glass could have caused ALL kinds of strange things to show up with lighting and shadows and such. Meaning that the "ghostly mist" in these pictures is most likely and probably just lighting and shadows.

BUT check this strange demon-like face I found in one of the pictures! Depends on whos looking, so to me its looks like a demon or angry face but you decide what it looks like to you, even though it is probably lighting effects due to the glass, its still entertaining to look at. Theres two very defined eyeballs if you look...EDIT: The "nose" is a little higher than i drew on the example, and its right between the two eyes.

You want to know something creepy, when my girlfriend saw the picture she said "nah its probably just my reflection or shadow, but then she remembered she DID NOT have her hair down, it was in a ponytail.....

Was there a tour guide or just a walk through kind of thing? If a guide, any notable stories to share?

Agreed, probably just the glass but pretty cool looking either way. Would love to see some more of your pics, ghosties or not! yes.gif

Its obvious it either extends downward or there is some other form of maybe ectoplasm/mist here as well..
Indrid Cold
Sure, here are more EDIT: The first picture seems to show a figure possibly walking away through that doorway

They are all very interesting. The first one there is something moving out of the door, but I cannot tell what it is. The second one is very reflective due to the mirror but there are things around it I cant explain, unless its reflection and the 3rd has the same design, so not sure yet..GOOD JOB..JN

Oh yeah I knew for a fact that the second one is a reflection of course, you can even see my fingers on the camera. the first one is pretty interesting though. i'm still surprised at that demonic face I saw in the first pic i posted though.

In the room where you think you see perhaps a ghost leaving, what's this is the top right corner? Those are the weirdest looking orbs I have ever seen. They look like a bunch of teeny eyeballs.

These are pretty unusual looking. The picture with the red tablecloth and the lamp has rather eerie effect too.
spiridion
Those are neat pictures, but considering that they were all taken through glass, the logical explanation is that these are all reflections, smudges on the glass.
SunDogDayze
I think the creepiest thing in all of the pictures is the little doll sitting on the bed....

I don't know why things like that seem ominous to me....(chills)

Anyway, sorry the trip was uneventful (and glad that it was at the same time)

Happy hunting!

I found those in some of my own photos and they do appear to be little eyeballs. It is said they are spirtual balls of energy, that are newly forming, but in any case, they are strange..JN
