Hey guys ive been searching for a while now, and cant find any good earth-to-space universe travel, city construction on other planets and experiencing the life forms and atmosphere on those planets, kind of games. You would think this would do well as a game, but i cant find anything! Anything quality wise anyway, like a detailed 3d earth, your own GOD CONTROLS and whatnot. Create your own planets, etc.
There should be a god sim game.

If you cant wait for spore there is Galactic Civilizations II Gold Edition. Its a turned based strategy game no god controls its only economic resource and technology management.

You'll just have to wait for Spore. Scheduled to come out in 2013, unfortunately the world ends in 2012.

If you play civ4, the newest expansion has a space based scenario with it that is like Galactic Civ II

A good turn based game that I used to play is called Alpha Centuri but, its kind of old. I used to play it for hours at a time.
