spiritual sensations
on this ghostly hallows eve
will really keep me busy
more than other times I receive

I'll hear their little whispers
some will even whine
wanting me to give a message
to those they left behind

I'll bring out the pendulum
for some they have no voice
watch it swing to and fro
and know they now rejoice

some will hang around
all throughout the night
while all the others
will simply take flight

I shall never tire
of these spirit greetings
I welcome them into my heart
and look forward to the next meeting
