First I'd just like to say that I'm not sure that this is the right place to post this topic ..


Why does our mind play horrible tricks on us?

If your in a perfect relationship with someone ..

And you have a friend (Who also happens to be a chick) and .. suddenly ..

You like the friend instead of your partner .. I .. I don't have any "extra" feelings for her .. But for some reason, feel more attracted?

Is it my mind? Nature?

And now I'm wondering, do I ignore it all?


I shouldn't even have to be thinking about this s***, I'm just a kid! ;(


So back to the question, Trick of the mind, Nature, or maybe something else..?

I know theres alot of smart people on these forums.. I was just wondering if youse help me out here ..

Goes into the whole 'wanting what you can't have.' I don't think it is nature per se, more like human behavior. But, then again, I guess that's the same thing.

It all depends if the feeling came on suddenly or if it has grown over time (whether short or long time is irrelevant). Would the attraction be mutual or, when you stand back and be objective, would it be a crush on this person that you have developed?

Be careful though, people seem to think that the grass is always greener on the other side, but when you get there it is no different and you could lose what you already have.....

but if it makes you feel better.she must feel the same way about your guy friends or other guys just because your with someone doesnt mean your eye sight changes to only see them.. you'd wish..but it just wont happen and in theend the only thing that matters is that you Love HER and not the other chick.

Hormones cause initial attractions to people and certain parts of the brain control your ability to stabilize a relationship with someone. So, as long you don't let hormones control you, there's no way you will initiate and continue a relationship unless you want to.

First off your mind is nature so the question is worded badly. It is natural to want to impregnate and then move on to a new taget to impregnate. But it's also immoral. It really comes down to who you want to be.
