'Ghost' seen at gas station
linked-image
Click here to watch video - 00:28

Submitted by Adam and Mars: Take a look at what was spotted on a surveillance camera at an Ohio gas station. It's an eerie, blue image, which some believe is a ghost. The station owner says the image floated around the pumps for about a half-hour, then disappeared.

cool...i personally think its an aura or an angelic being?...

Ohio is one of the areas where small blue Karner butterflies can be found see link here.

QUOTE
Good populations of Karner blues also are found in Michigan and Indiana, with many fewer still in New York, Minnesota, New Hampshire and Ohio.

I wonder if one of them might not have survived the cool of the fall and was seeking shelter up on the surveillence camera? The blue blob moves very much like a winged insect (if it was right on the lens it would look like a fuzzy blob).

some of the staff were bored and decided to take a video home and use software and put hte blue swirly thing onto the footage and send it in, case solved. sort of thing i would do for a laugh until it gets outta hand

I never understood why ghosts feel the need to haunt gas stations and convenient stores! laugh.gif

I have a security camera at my house. For some reason bugs just love to crawl all over them...that is exactly what this looks like, it just looks like some light colored bug crawling on the lens of the camera...

It doesnt seem like thta big of a deal to me and I dont see why so many people are getting worked up over it...

Not to let the air out of tires on your fire truck Fluff but. I watched this a few times pretty close and what it looks like to me is someone with those blue head lights parked in a spot that refracted on the lens. Because of the way it rotated around the bulge of the lens when it moved off. Oh and considering it did not move at all for almost a half hour.

or maybe a bag , ice bags are blue here
Lopare
Winged insect like Lilly says maybe the Small Blue Karner Butterfly...it looks like it is flapping wings at the beginning and when close to the camera, just a blur. Same thing happened in Santa Fe with a spider I believe.

It's a trick, well-done or nicely performed. That can be truth, though seems like something awesome! How could you explain that? I've found the answer:

Okay I cant let this one go but............ without sounding steriotypical, (wow such a big word, and its only early).

But most times Ive watched the news and see people, murdered, shot, stabbed, raped, etc near or around the facinity of service stations.

If you where just going up to the shop for fuel, milk, cigarettes, etc and you ended up dead, even In death you'd still need fuel for your car,(jokes) fully tongueing for a coffee, and totally hanging out for a smoke, then yes, if i was a ghost then Id be pretty pissed about it. Also in the hope if the offender ever came back, as if your not gunna frighten the crap out of them for stuffing up your perfectly good day. lol

Yeah must be a plastic bag floating around or something.

like a daydream or a fever
Looks like somebody's been having some fun with their sh**ty cg program, or if not that then it's just a bug looking for warmth in this bitterly cold Ohio weather.

I call bug. Looks and acts like one, and I refuse to believe a ghost would just hang out in front of a gas station video camera like that.
