Ok, as far as i can tell the general upshot of the above post is thus......
Picture the scene, Minneapolis, a balmy summer afternoon. Myself and some young friends were having a high old time in a disused pit. We were whooping and hollering as we rode our sleds with gay abandon. The pit itself was located in a densely wooded area and the misshapen trees served as a somewhat spooky backdrop. One of my friends mentioned to me that the trees made him feel decidedly uneasy. I must confess, i was feeling a little uneasy myself. I decided it was an appropriate time to leave the pit, imagine my surprise when I glimpsed something inexplicable from out of the corner of my eye. I was spooked and i began to run, as i ran I was startled by a most unwelcome sensation emanating from my leg. It was as if the aforementioned appendage was on fire. I stopped dead in my tracks and as i looked over my shoulder I saw a sight that i shall never forget. It looked like a black panther. However, it was significantly larger than any panther should be and instead of walking on all fours the beast was on his hind legs, the for legs raised to the air. The face of the beast was contorted in rage and it was staring directly at me, its foul gaze seeming to burn through to my very core. Needless to say I never returned to the pit, and to this day i can find no rational explanation for the events I witnessed.
Do you have any views on what it may have been that I saw that summer afternoon in Minneapolis?
