We were talking about paranormal events in my friends car the other day, and he told me of an experience they had, and I wondered if anyone might be able to shed some light on it. He and some other friends used to take walks out in the countryside near his house some nights. One time they found an abandoned house where they didn't remember there being one before. For some reason, one of them took a brick from the house and they went to walk back to his house. He looked up at a tall pine tree as they passed by, and noticed a large bump hanging off of the side of the tree. They stopped and looked closer, and noticed that the lump had large yellow glowing eyes, and it was staring at them. They immediately turned the flashlights on it, but couldn't distinguish anything, it looked like a large creature that was completely black in color, all they could tell was basics, but could get no detail on it. It was almost as if it was absorbing the light. They watched it for a minute, then it abruptly dropped about 13 feet lower in the tree. They turned their lights on it, but it still was the same shape just lower in the tree, and it was still staring at them. They turned to walk away from whatever it was, and when my friend looked back he could see that there were many of these creatures moving up and down the trees, but their eyes never wavered off of my friends group. They began walking faster, and every time my friend looked back there seemed to be more and more of them, and they had moved off of the trees and were walking back and forth on the ground. He said that at one point there was so many they were completely surrounded on three sides by these things. My friend then told the other person to throw the brick back, and as soon as they saw the brick hit the ground back in the woods, my friends group took off running. He looked back a final time, but all of the beings had disappeared. They went back into the field the next day, but were unable to find the house. They had marked the ground where the house was, and the mark was there but there was no house to be found. They went back to where the friend had thrown the brick and found that the brick, when it hit the ground, had buried itself about a half-a-brick deep into the hard earth there. They carried the brick back to the marker, and the house was back. They experimented, and everytime they had the brick the house was there, but if the brick wasn't there, they couldn't find the house. They put the brick back in the house and went back home. They haven't been able to find the house since.

I was wondering if anyone had any idea what all of this was, and what those creatures may have been?

It sort of sounds like a story created to scare you, and you have no evidence whether they made this up or it was true. Tell them you want some photos or request they go back and take some and EVP's. My bet is, they will decline..JN

If I were you, I'd make upsome ridiculous story and tell them that - and see if they come post in here looking for explanations.
