A 17th century book believed to be bound in the skin of a priest executed for treason appears to bear a "spooky" image of his face on the cover.
The account of the death of Gunpowder Plot conspirator Father Henry Garnet is described by experts as "rare and macabre".
Sid Wilkinson, from Wilkinson's Auctioneers in South Yorkshire, who will be selling the book on Sunday, said he could see the Jesuit priest's face peering out from the cover.

I see something on the cover, don't know quite what it is...I guess the skin of a priest is better than the serial killer who was making wallets and belts out of skin...but the book is creepy looking...

Uh... I'm not seeing anything... but on the plus side, what's the bet it's sold for a nice small fortune?

I saw it right away. I wouldn't want anything made out of human skin in my house. It would creep me out.

Ugh! Where did you see that? That gives me shivers. Not sure why, but I find it so much worse for human skin to be made into things.

Wheni die if i cannot be covered in amber with a bow and arrow with an m16 i will have them skin my face after every has seen them, then make into leather and have it as a mask... JUST KIDDEN! NOT ABOUT THE AMBER THOUGH, but that would be so freaky! a man`s face on a book bound by his skin yuck!

Human skin for the cover of a book.
Witches skin used to be used for those sorts of things centuries ago, disturbing really.
I must admit, not only would I not be able to buy such a book (even if I had the money) I wouldn't even be able to touch the thing

YUK!
Why would anyone want a book covered in human skin?
It must be a good read, maybe it's Bob Monkhouse's missing joke book?

It's hard to see, but there is some form of a demented face on it.
So... yeah.
I wouldn't bet for it.
I think he just wants money.
