You need a minimum of 25 posts in order to enter the chat room, this was implemented because we had a problem with people who would keep registering new accounts out of devilment and using them to post spam, troll the room or to bypass a ban. A second restriction was also implemented disallowing access for anyone who has received three or more formal warnings.

Are you still getting the "25 posts" error message even though your post count is high enough ?

Incidently why do you have more than one account ? Why not use your old one ?

I'm not allowed in the chat room and none of my warnings were the result of being in chat... What's up with that? My warning level works out to 1.3 or something warnings per a year. So I'm a little angel the other 364 days of the year. Or if you want to go by posts I have 4 or 5 warnings from out of nearly 21,000 posts. So I'm being judged on less then .01% of my writings and time here. That's just brutal.

Haha, I haven't been in chat since it tightened up. But, I blame Amy and Crt for my warning... appariently it was kinda high for my first offence.

There are currently no seperate chat room and forum warning systems, we now have just one warning level for all the services on the site.

We do however have a system in the works for automatically reducing the warning levels of members who have gone for any six month period without receiving any more warnings, this is still in development but we have been reducing warn levels manually in the meantime.

Kratos, you haven't had a formal warning for 18 months so you're warn level has now been reduced to one.

Eric, you're elligible for a reduction of two but you still have more than three in total.

If anyone else is unable to access the room due to warnings and believes that their warn level should be reduced due to six months without subsequent warnings then you are encouraged to let us know so your warn level can be reviewed.
