Well as we all know there is a new Knight Rider TV series on the horizon. The link above contains the first pictures of Kitt which is no longer a Trans-Am but rather a 550 HP Ford Shelby GT500KR Mustang.

A TV series it says so in the article that came with the pictures.... Should have kept the car a Trans-Am IMO

yeah the trans am was cool...in the 80s

but a WS6 Kitt would be sweet

ford must have wanted it more than the others, it happens all the time in movies

Lotus and VW wanted the role for bumblebee in Transformersbut Chevy paid more

New Beetle would been used
