can sombody tell me who has UT3 whether they 'force' people to do these stupid activations? like windows vista bioshock etc. or like bf2142 where they force you to go online and register an account even tho you just want to play singleplayer.

im just trying to decide whether i should return it cause i don't like games where they do these stupid activation process. (i know they are starting to become more common nowadays)

I think you have to make an accout even in single player, but I'm not sure.. I just made one when the demo came out and I used that today with the full game. And it's pretty cool.. I've missed the shock rifle. I'm just setting up my n52 now and stuff.. getting everything juuuust right. I just hope it doesnt crash again. lol

UT3 is primarily a multiplayer game, you will probably find the single player to be disappointing if that is the main reason you bought the game.
