About 10 days ago I was doing some reseach. Accidentally I found Atlantis's resting place. I am preparing an official presentation. Does anyone know who I can make this presentation to? I know not who or where to turn to. I will not disclose anything right now. In the future, after I have maid my presentation, I will disclose everything here. I will enclose maps, time lines, a full statement, the true resting place of Ataltis, and exactly what happened those many years ago. Also I will tell the hows and whys of the other sites and why they are not Atlantis. I WILL reveal EVERYTHING. It was actually SO easy to figure out it's unreal! There was only one thing that every single person DID NOT see. I saw it and the puzzle just fell into place in seconds. It was very strange and totally NOT what I was doing research on at the time.
Anyone have any ideas on where to go and who to speak to?

I'd try Google, looking for experts. Preferably someone at a big University, but anyone who has written a noted book on Atlantis would be good.
Just curious, but how could you build a Timeline? Are you just using available online resources? Logic and deduction only goes so far. We would know very little about the US Civil War without written accounts, and that was only 150 years ago.

Sure you have...
If this ought to be true, even though I accord it very few chances, the best thing would probably be to contact an University, as someone said before.
May I ask how you figured it out, if you should really have discovered the location of Atlantis? How did you do your research?

This is interesting! First off you should make sure you're presentation is set and organized. Then, I suppose you could look around online
about what other researchers have done! They should be able to guide you in the right direction as to what you should do to get you're
presentation out there.
You could at least give us a better idea as to what it is you think you have discovered that many other researchers have missed!

What are you playing at.
you say you have found atlantis but your not gonna tell, and you have no idea where to present your theory,
what did it take you an afternoon to find it so instead of years of reasearch during wich you learn where the theory must be presented.
It sounds like your just here to waste peoples time.

Sounds very interesting indeed. Having read a number of books on Atlantis and related mysteries, I cannot wait until you present your ideas! But why don't you present the results here on this website. As one of the leading sites for all things mysterious, surely this is the best place. Anyway, looking forward to seeing it, wherever it's published. As for the "presentation itself", the more varied you can make it, the better. If possible, try to include a reasonable number of coloured graghics etc. Also, if possible, a short video summarizing your main conclusions would be well received. In any event, good luck with the presentation!

Then you could contact whatnot university.

Many people author and post articles on UM, which has a fine reputation. So to say, "later I will tell you" because first I need to tell someone else.... doesn't tell me anything.

Why wait with information you can share? Are you looking for personal gain? Why not share what you have to see if your findings/theories are viable? You apparently have the evidence in your possession. Share what you think without giving the "hard" evidence. This forum would be a great place to informally present your findings...there seems to be a lot of people here that have "heard it all." It sounds to me that you have a notion about Atlantis but have yet followed up on it...this would be a great place to share your ideas and to solidify your thoughts prior to formally presenting to a museum, university, or other organizations interested in Atlantis. Good luck.

The simple fact here is that someone's "theory" including his own maps and timelines can not possible be considered evidence of the location for Atlantis. To prove it, one would have to produce ACTUAL evidence like ruins, artifacts etc which in turn need to be carefully documented preferable by an archeologist.

If you recall the 7 cities of Troy were thought to just be a legend until discovered in the 1870's. If properly investigated, ancient sites can be identified.
In the 1870s the German archaeologist Heinrich Schliemann excavated the area. Later excavations revealed several cities built in succession to each other. One of the earlier cities (Troy VII) is often identified with Homeric Troy. While such an identity is disputed, the site has been successfully identified with the city called Wilusa in Hittite texts; Ilion (which goes back to earlier Wilion with a digamma) is thought to be the Greek rendition of that name.
The archaeological site of Troy was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1998.

For most I think it all about ideas, adventure, detective work. Passionate interest....(no NOT as in mermaids,

I don't think there can be THAT much money to be made....and there must surely be easier ways

It makes perfect sense. You told the thread starter to provide actual evidence to back up his claim that he had found Atlantis. You went on to say that the evidence could then be examined by an archaeologist to verify it's authenticity. I suggested that the person providing the evidence should obtain a mermaid. If they did that I would verify whether or not it was authentic (i am not an archaeologist though). Why do I want a mermaid?...
I don't think you do.this is not my thread and I don't claim to know the whereabout of Atlantis.
I know. Even if I had one, how would you authenticate it?
Using my vast experience of mermaid anatomy and physiology. Are you an expert on mermaids, having identified others in the past?
Yes. I have seen the movie "Splash" 64 times now. What do mermaids have to do with Atlantis?
Well, the mer-people of Atlantis, who have the tails of fish and the heads and torsos of human beings were ordinary humans in the days when ancient Atlantis existed on the surface of the Atlantic Ocean. When Atlantean scientists discovered that their island was sinking into the sea, they erected a glass dome to keep out the ocean and enable their civilisation to survive beneath the ocean surface. Then, one day their scientists found a way to convert them into a race of mermen and mermaids. Read your bible, it's all in there!!!

It's just a joke.
I've also suggested that red and white pyramids were for hot and cold running water.

Even if they were ever able to pump they probably wouldn't work after 45- 48 centuries
of people removing parts from them. They would also require knowledge of their con-
struction and a motive source of some type.
And this doesn't even consider the many earthquakes and sand penetration.

I think he's just faking. And how can you find something if it's not missing. Atlantis was never lost. Even before they knew that their existence would be a problem to the rest of the world. That is why they waited for the Gread Floods and used it to hide their city underwater. I don't think that a civilization that brought the world to its knees would let Nature take them down.
