This is kinda hard to explain but somtims I need help being woken up. Somtims I'll wake up but I can't open my eyes or move but I can say a few words. It's like I'm still sleeping or something and I need to be shaken out of this weird state. Could it be like a medical condition or something?

Classic symptoms of sleep paralysis. When we go into REM sleep the body goes into a state of paralysis so we don't act out our dreams. When we wake up straight out of REM sleep our subconscious mind is still rolling and we don't immediately come out of that state of paralysis and we can't move or talk. Sometimes it can be accomanied with hallucinations because our subconscious mind is still active causing us to hear, see, feel, sense things that are not really there. If you google sleep paralysis you will find tons of information. There have been lots of studies about this and you will find it is quite common.

Sleep paralysis is the likely answer. There is another similar possibility and that is Astral Travel when we return we are not all that well in the body a little out of sorts if you will. Do you share a bed with someone? If you do they can disturb your body while you are out, causing the disjointed feeling when you return.

Hope this helps.
