Anyone remember watching the program In Search Of and one evening on it they had a portion of the program on alien stuff, I think it was. Anyway, the program pointed out how some guy called in to the program, or some program to do with space and said we are from space or something like that and addressed themselves as being from something like the 7th paralell universe. They interruped some program with a message and then hung up. I wonder if that was someone being funny or?

This particular episode of In Search of was from the 70's I believe. Leonard Nimoy was narrating it. It had to do with a tv program or radio program about space and this guy supposedly called in and interrupted the program saying he was from space. I'm not sure exactly where he was saying he was from or representing but it was something strange as far as what planet or galaxy, constellation. All I know is that it was spacy sounding. You got to hear the guy speak as they ran the recording of it on the program In Search Of.

I think it was just to make the show look more interesting. rofl

Although I cannot be certain if it was the same programme, I do recall something along those lines. There have been several related TV shows in the past, in which members of the public have made really dramatic "TV moments" - when it's live TV that is. It's those live events where things can happen that were not anticipated, that makes for exciting viewing - that's for sure.

I never saw it but probably it was made liek that to keep viewrs entertained.

I think I remember they were doing a show on the Brimuda (sp?) Triangle, and some guy called into some radio station and said he was calling from there or something.

The have phones in the Bermuda triangle? LOL

I tried too Google the In Search of show, but could'nt find anything, I'd love to hear this call if anyone has a linky?

I doubt it was real, I mean nothing has ben said in recent times regarding it right? maybe a prank?

Yes, Haggis I believe you have came upon the correct situation segment. I seem to remember somewhat now something about the Bermuda Triangle being connected to the guy or alien on the phone. I wonder if there is a way to track down that particular episode as it was kind of unusual and strange. Thanks for reminding me of which subject was covered in this episode.
