Deputies said a man left his three-month-old baby alone for six hours while he robbed a grocery store. Police said Tony Doden and his accomplice, James Schmidt were arrested after their getaway car was spotted by a witness.

A teenage employee told police a man wearing a Halloween style "Jason" masked robbed them at gunpoint and then took off.

The child's mother was arrested in October

Police say the baby was found with a severe case of diaper rash. Doden's grandmother is now taking care of the baby.

Imagine leaving a 3 month old baby alone for six hours...The mother's in jail and this a****** probably needed drug money. At least he'll get a 2fer1 with charges...Burglary and Child Endangerment....

Boy do I agree with you..And it's the father's grandmother who now is taking care of the child, making me wonder how old this poor woman is....Too many sad stories concerning children and their neglectful, idiotic parents....

The government should put up a test whether a person is qualified to be a parent or not.. cause it's sad to hear news like this.

You know what is kind of bizarre is that many of us agree with you, but doesn't that have a bit of a feeling of one of htose movies about the future and how the public are so strictly controlled? Maybe that is just what the future is going to be, a very rigid society and laws because we have so many people like this neglecting and abusing their children. Just a thought.

Its very sad and parents like this should be steralized.... but it does prove a point... men can't do 2 things at once!

I think most of us are in a majority thinking this way....My grandson will be 16, granddaugter 14, and of course the toddlers,..I look at them at times and wonder what is it going to be like for them....Their upbringing is so iimportant, but it's scary when I think of them being out on their own...one can only pray that they do the right thing.....

and all we could do is to teach them and tell them the right thing to do. but the hard part is whether they would do it or not. or would just be part of the problem.

I think she will be very protective of the child and hope to reverse any wrong she did in raising her child who would lead a life of crime to raising this grandchild right.
