Ok so i dunno if this is something people keep bring up, like the Dec. 21, 2012 thing or not. But has anyone actually had an experience with this? As far as ive heard you close (sometimes lock? O_o) the bathroom door at night, turn all the lights off and stand in front of the mirror and repeat the words "Bloody Mary" a certain number of times while staring straight into the pitch black mirror. I forget if it was a phrase that your supposed to say as well...im not sure. has anyone actually tried this with results? i tried it once with a friend, and her little cousin opened the door JUST as we got done saying it, and the light from the next room glared into the mirror with his reflection, scared the crap out of us but we ended up laughing soooo hard about it afterwards when we tried again. so i mean i guess you cant count that as a serious attempt.

Yes blood mary is real, the people who do it die and get dragged into the mirror. The next day they wake up in there beds allowing them to then pass on the legend 
I tried it several times, in several different ways, and I'm still here.
Maybe she's just to busy pulling others inside the mirror that she just hadn't had the time for me yet, so if I ever get dragged in the mirror I'll let you know. That is, if they have computers in mirrorland. And I'd also probably have to write backwards, so if my posts are suddenly full of spelling errors you will know where I am

OMG you tried it!!!!! Some people say that if you have tried it and you subsequently walk by a mirror in total darkness (ever again), regardless of whether you are trying to summon her or not, Bloody Mary will get you!!!!
People should not mess with Bloody Mary, I did and look what happened to me...
She scratched my face badly but i managed to get away..... that time! I have since removed all mirrors from my house. Leahzebelle, you should consider removing all the mirrors from your house, do it now while there is still time!

LOL but I've done it. And it doesn't work. How is it possible.. I did it along with like my whole class in 5th grade and nothing happened!

Me and my friends tried it in the girls bathroom. Here is what happened:
1. We turned off all the lights and began chanting Bloody Mary. Someone told us that we have to say it 100 times so, we tried that
2. Right when we were going to say it the 100th time, my friend began flickering the lights and my other friend and I screamed
3. We turned off the lights again and gathered in a small circle next to each other and tried it again, (without the flickering lights)
4. I began to grow nervous so I stopped and my friends didn't want to do it alone so we stopped.
I DO believe in ghosts and I will never try that again, (at least not with the same friends!).
Also, someone told me that if you see Bloody Mary with a rose or her baby, that means you will die soon....
P.S. I was 11 at the time. 2 years ago and I still remember!

I wouldnt' never try that!! but that is kind of cool though.
There is film in the 'Urban Legends' slasher movie series about Bloody Mary. It's the third film, called 'Urban Legends: Bloody Mary'. For a straight to DVD movie, it's got some pretty kick ass effects and inventive, funny, gory death scenes. You should check it out.
