Superdrug has pulled a women's boxing set from sale following complaints from a support group for male domestic violence victims.

The ManKind Initiative wrote to Superdrug's managing director complaining that the Hers Boxing Set, which contains a man-shaped punch bag and a pair of boxing gloves, encouraged women to hit men and called for it to be withdrawn.

The ManKind Initiative complained owners were encouraged to insert photos of a man for the punch bag's face and that a picture on the product packaging showed an arrow pointing to a man's groin saying "kick him here".

Now. If the boxing dummy was shaped like a woman, I'd agree with it being taken down. Call me sexist all you want, doesn't change the fact that I see punching a woman as wrong.

me, being a male, and reading countless posts of women lighting men of fire and such have no reason to agree with this, if they are going to bring out this for women why not bring out one for men, but what man would be pathetic enough to actually buy one, not me. women are just so confusing lol.

I normally under most circumstances would not hit a woman as I can restrain myself but if one thinks she could go toe to toe with me I assure you I wouldn't be like these p*ssies and I would knock her head off.... I've done it before.

Fact is this is not just a boxing set as boxing only uses the hand and punching below the belt is illegal etc. This does promote woman on man violence by telling women to kick guys in the cahonies and telling them to pin a picture of the guy who's @ss they wanna kick on the face.

Boxing is one thing but this was not designed for that purpose. I don't think it should be pulled let women have their dummy because either which way i look at it no woman could beat me in a fight in a ring, octagon or on the street.
