I have more so favorite channels - the history channel , the science channel , National Geographic channel, animal planet , TV land and the Sci fi channel.
the only show I watch with some regularity is Battlestar Galactica ( I try to keep up ) , UFO Hunters , Ghost Hunters really. yet even those I miss.
ps - I miss the old TV land -
The Jackie Gleason Show , The Dick Van Dyke Show , Laverne and Shirley , Mary Tyler Moore , RHODA !! ect ....
not to forget reruns of The Bionic Woman ! what a cool lunchbox ! I wish I had one !

now they have idiotic reality tv shows like about hitting 40. I don't care about rebuilding houses. TV Land is supposed to be about classic tv !!

Hm... here's mine, in no particular order.

Heroes
Supernatural
Buffy
Scrubs
Futurama
Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmerman (I just like to watch Andrew Zimmerman.

)
I agree with Lt. Ripley about having favorite channels also. Like anything on Animal Planet/TLC/Discovery/History channel that catches my interest (mostly about religion, Nostradamus, animals (obviously

), Edgar Cayce, hauntings, etc.)
Forensic Files (I used to watch this with my Mom all the time...)
Odyssey (I used to have a crush on Mark Hildreth.

Doubt anyone knows what this show is anyway. ;P (Not the myth Odyssey.))
X-Files

1. The Shield
2. 24
3. Rescue Me
4. OZ
5. Lost
6. Law and Order SVU
A few months back I would've probably put Smallville, Prison Break, and Supernatural on my list, but man have those shows completely jumped the shark.
I'm starting to lose interest in Lost too, because the storyline is just getting too absurd.

Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmerman !! the guy is crazy !! lmao

May 16 2008, 05:03 AM
There are only a couple I've ever watched regularly, those being:
Evangelion: Sci-Fi anime series set in Tokyo, involving sentient, organic machines and the apocalypse. Easily my favorite series, although only 26 episodes long.
X-Files: Well... It's the X-Files. Seriously, like I need to describe it.
MythBusters: Likewise, it's simply MythBusters. I watch it just for that reason.

I love watching Andrew Zimmerman.

He just has this great personality (even though I don't really agree on eating live animals/insects... XP), but I just love to watch him, because he just seems so natural and willing to try anything. ;P And I love the very rare reactions he makes when he tries something he doesn't like.

Just so cute and funny. ^^

I don't have TV, but get DVD TV shows.
1. Lost- really cool. Reminds me of some adventures I've been on. And I like the spiritual elements to the show.
2. 24- good action action, but with a peaceful charachter who is obsessed only with bringing good to the world. Breaks every rule in the book to save others. Good portrayal of Muslims and their relation to the world of terrorism(in other words: Muslim does
not mean terrorist)
3. Law & Order: SVU- another show with a moral plot. Calm, quiet episodes, hunting bad guys in a professional manner.
4. Fire Fly- neat mix of Sci-Fi with Wild West elements. I like the 'Shepherd'. He's a Christian Priest, but is not crazy. A very open-minded, intelligent, peace-bringing charachter. Any Sci-Fi Christians out there? Learn from Shepherd

5. Alias-more cool peaceful action. In fact, I have seen ever episode of the 5 years the show was on, and out of all the non-stop action, I only saw, maybe 2 people get shot. Lot's of action, almost no violence.
6. Little Mosque on the Prairie-hilarious religious humor. Mostly Muslim, but Christian and Jewish too. A show to break down stereo-types and teach people that Muslims are just people too. For good and for bad, they are just like everyone else. The show appeals to any audiance.
7. Mind of Mencia-funny ethnic humor. helps break down racism.
8. Chapelle Show-same as above
9. Death Note-really cool Anime
10.Rome-Great characters and scenes. However, way too much gross sexual scenes. I can tolerate a sex scene here or there. But this show used them a lot. And used really bad ones. Great show, but the sex ruined it. Be VERY careful if you ever watch it.
