Hey guys, I'm a pretty big Zepplin fan. I just wanted to post because I know a lot of UM members are over in the UK. I was curious if anyone out there is lucky enough to be making it to see this show??
I know I'm going to cop a DVD of the show as soon as it's possible and I'll be listening live on the radio. Led Zepplin will never get old in my ears and I'm pumped they are doing this show. Anyone else excited about this??

Zep is awesome I've seen Page/Plant in Detroit in 95, Jimmy Page even did a bit of "Dazed & Confused"

Holy sh**, that would be awesome!
I sadly was only able to listen to some of it live on the radio tonight, but what I heard was just so good. I really hope they do a full blown tour.
Even if it's just for the fact that they'd get rich all over again doing it.

I heard clips of 'Black Dog' yesterday morning on the radio... the band was terrific - Plant was horrible... and I'm a Zepplin fan and wouldn't just go and bash them. I had the pleasure to see Jason Bonham perform with Foreigner live 'summer 06' - he is one GREAT drummer.

I would LOVE it if they did a tour. I never thought I'd have the pleasure of seeing them live. And now... maybe I will.
Words can not describe how much I love their music. I guess the only way I could come close to expressing it would be if I could sing like Robert Plant or play guitar like Jimmy Page.

I'm a huge fan of Zepplin, always have been.
I saw Page and Plant for their Walking into Clarksdale tour in roughly 1999? Something like that. They did a handful of songs off their CD (which is pretty good if you're in a mellow mood) and after that, they did exclusively old Zepplin songs. Gallows Pole, Song Remains the Same, In my Time of Dying, etc... it was AMAZING. Plant looked and sounded great, Page sounded great, but looked like he'd been hit by a truck.
If they do tour, and come to Seattle I'll go if getting tickets isn't too much of a headache. Historically, I know Seattle has always been on their tour schedule. If I'm not mistaken, they played their very first headliner show in Seattle about a zillion years ago. LOL.

My guy is a huge fan and has got me into Zepplin as well. He's been talking about they may do a tour again for two years now. If they do I hope they come to the US. I've never been to a concert in my life and seeing them live would be sooo cool.

Well I've been hearing from more and more people that the tour thing is basically a sure thing. I only listened to part of the show, but it sounded very good. Sure Plant's voice is a few octaves lower but he can still pull it off

Don't buy any tickets yet. I heard there are already tickets sales for the World Tour but it's a scam, there is no official word of a concert tour.

I like a lot of their lesser known tunes...
Celebration Day, Bron Y Aur stomp, Hats off to Roy Harper, Royal Orleans might be one of my all time favorites. Tangerine is always way up there as a favorite too. My favorite off of II, was the Thank You Song. My girlfriends and I used to listen to that 100 times a day it seemed like. LOL. And of course, you can't forget Livin' Lovin' Maid.

I know most people think IV was their best album, but it was actually my least favorite. hah. I think III and Presence were my favorites.
