There's the link, my dad sent it to me. It seems too blatant to be real, but looks like a pretty good fake with the acting and CG well-coordinated and stuff. The main issue with me is that something that size would make a crater and/or smash to pieces on impact, would it not? Can anyone give me any info on this?

LOL laugh.gif - that's awsome.

the initial hit and the smoke that follows looks extremely fake to me. and their acting seems a little forced at times. my response would be: fake.

The original video is hosted here:

http://www.newbornpix.com/sheriff.htm

But that particular page is hosted by this site:

http://www.newbornpix.com/

Newbornpix is a media hosting site dedicated to short films and animations.

Look at that alien eating Scott Pendleton's face at the end... how can you possibly believe that CGI! It's a little rubber chap with orange eyes lol. The rest of the video was quite good, but that bit shows the animator/CGI creator's lack of experience and emerging talent.

Here's a close up of the 'alien'

http://www.seeufos.com/seeufosvideos.html to see the pic hit CTRL F on that page and type in Scott, it will take you to the close up pic.

Good short video with decent acting, but it was produced as a short film, nothing else.

yes this is a movie made for a short film festival..

there was a discussion about it here a few weeks ago.

sad.gif .. my kigdom for somethgin that even makes me go hmmmmmm

Anyways if something that large hit it would leave a blast crater a mile wide... that would be equally fun to watch

lol i love this vid
Shiloh
Total fake. She sees the object at her 1 O'clock as it is approaching, yet when he raises the camera it comes from about their 3 O'clock leaving a smoke trail that only seems to start as the camera is raised and lands directly behind them. Next the object lands with such speed it creates a small crater but doesn't bounce and roll as you would expect. Now, instead of running like hell, Scott runs up to it and calls it a thing instead of a meteroid or a rock. And lastly a typical plane crash exerts about 100G's on impact, and yet this alien just pops out and gets all over Scott, lol.
