Ok. I have a question...er, questions.
If these secret societies/plans/families are so secret, how do people find out about them?
To be honest I don't know very much about some theories/conspiracies, just tidbits of ideas I have picked up over time. (My questions maybe already answered, please excuse my ignorance.) How do people find these things out? Is it through observation, or speculation, or both?

Thank you. happy.gif

The secret doesn't lie in whether they exist or not so much as what they get up to.

I've always wondered about something similar (yet different tongue.gif ): if top secret societies/conspiracies are so secret, how do you get people to work for you? It's not like they just post an add in the paper that says "top secret facility needs super secret agents to hunt down escaped aliens" or something. And if they just draft certain people from other agencies, how would they know that those people won't expose their secrets?

Excellent question. It shows a pretty decent degree of logical processing!

I would say, in exceedingly large part, it does indeed have to do with speculation and observation.
More appropriately; people's observations of their speculations.

They are recruited probably much like members of the Mafia. No one gets in without dirty hands.

This is probably how some things do get leaked.

I guess the people that do these sort of jobs, perhaps work in their department/company/agency for many years before being found to be dependent and reliable enough to trust with certain information. Contracts and non-disclosure agreements that result in the severest penalties if they break their conditions also apply.

Of course, it wouldn't be 100%, hence "leaks".

What about the secret society that promotes the formation of secret societies? Anyone ever heard of them?
Quill
Thanks for the answers everyone. happy.gif I was also wondering what scorpian asked...

It seems to me that there is much room for human error in these things...

No, can't say that I have...

See this link about security clearances, including checks carried out and Acts individuals must abide by. The higher up the chain you go the more you are monitored by those already inside. Once you reach the highest levels, there will be a file on you including everything from past relationships to your favorite meal - as much is known about you as you know yourself. And, if at any stage it becomes apparent an individual is a risk, they will rather quickly be falling back down the ladder.

It's good to see that others have noticed this oddity as well...
The most likely reason that something ultra-secret would end up in tabloids around the world is....

It isn't secret at all, but someone's speculation.

Quill.
it's not so much that people blab and reveal secrets that these things get out, although i'm sure this has happened (Albert Pike?)

gossipers and the like do not reach those heights, i see the problem of leaked info happening when the secret society actually tries to implement its plans, if you follow me.. everything leaves a footprint so to speak (why 'witnesses' are killed) when they break their own silence and start leaving footprints is when they reveal themselves.. it's kind of ironic, but if they kept out of sight they'd never get anything done, would they? hehe.. to get their omlette they break some eggs..
gossipers and blabbers make perfect mouth-pieces for the society.. they would never be told certain information, they would not be members of the society unless they were playing the role of a gossiper as cover. they would only be used to parrot information into the mainstream media.

it is not like a cartoon, where one scene you see them planning planning planning, then they pull their hoods over their heads and file off into the night to do their dark dees.. it doesn't happen like this.. what would happen if one member was caught? they could potentially be tortured and info extracted from them, leading to the demise of the society..

the higher members would probably not even get their hands dirty.. even street gangs operate in this way, where new willing recriuts are obliged to do tasks.. tasks on the periphery of the societies involvement. things that will not expose the initiate to inner secrets, and things that will not expose the inner secrets to the initiate..

even military and scientific organisations compartmentalize in this way.. it just makes sense to cover your ass when you've got a bug up it, so to speak..
there is also a tendancy for these societies to overlap and operate 'wheels within wheels' ..google 'bavarian illuminati' and 'Weishaupt' for more info on that.. it is in this way that factions and offshoots may emerge..

..the whole process of 'climbing a ladder' i would think is a filtering process, the ones who climb certain ladders all have pretty much the same ideas and beliefs at that stage (much of the lower laddering seems to be about dispensing selected veiled info to the candidate)

pursue the matter at your own pace, and keep in mind there is deliberate false information circulating out there, so don't make a tinfoil hat just yet wink2.gif keep in mind the ultimate plan is to subjugate the human - so smile and know you have something inside that others are desperately trying to take control of. develop that and enjoy the journey..

even the cashiers at McDonalds have no idea of inner company workings.. it's a bit like that.. wink2.gif
